Re: NBA 2012-2013

heat have ferociously bounced back after each loss.. If that doesn't happen consider LeBron 1-3 in NBA finals.. was he talking about losses when he counted to eight?..

Re: NBA 2012-2013

To be more precise:

LeBron 16.6 ppg on 38.8% for the series so far

Danny Green 18.6 ppg on 63.3% for the series so far

The King's legacy is on the line, some people think he is already better than Duncan and Kobe.

I don't think Lebron will beat Jordan as the greatest ever even if he wins 5 more rings.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

next season look for Indiana to press the heat even harder to make the finals.. going four times in a row might not have happened since those old celtic teams and the league was different then.. Just doesn't happen.. Teams get gassed (wade and bosh look tired) SA is a tough place to win.. Heat will be lucky to get a split to keep it alive

Here is my honest take.

This series is weird esp. for the Heat. I think they can absolutely beat the Spurs still (and honestly I'm surprised to be up) but it seems like they are getting "cute" like they want to win a certain way not necessarily the best way.

It seems like Lebron is really insistent on getting his teammates involved to a fault ,like he thinks that is more important to his legacy. I get on guys like Kobe for being too selfish at times when I think he should get his teammates involved more but it seems like Lebron has swung that pendulum the other direction way too much, to a fault.

At times I see him and Wade getting very deep in the paint where at times it seems like the best play is to take a shot (whether dunk or whatever) and last second they kick it out. The Spurs certainly don't have the bigs to alter shots other than Duncan.

But when LeBron is alpha aggressive, I have to say, that's when the Heat is at their best in this series (for example the end of the 3rd quarter he scored 9 straight points). If he wants to win this series he needs to go HAM and just rape the basket.

Bottomline, Bosh is a turd, Wade is unreliable, he really needs to just takeover at this point.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Pretty happy to see San Antonio take the win tonight. While I love seeing veterans prove the "just old" comments wrong, seeing Lebron lose is just makes the evil side of me so damn happy.

that's awesome.

So after last nights game I'd say it's safe to put away any talk of LBJ being better then MJ.

After one game? MJ never had off nights?

I personally think that kind of talk is pointless because LBJ is still a work in progress, while MJ had an all-time great career, and it just doesn't make sense to compare two people that way. But on the other hand, one game doesn't mean much of anything. . .potential exception being the final game of a Finals series.
