So how would a commissioned base work? This statue has no pegs. It is screwed in. Would the commissioned base do that too?

I'd imagine whoever is sculpting the custom base would need the actual statue inhand for them to encorporate the same screw fix as the original GG base...

the base should be thicker too, like 2 in atleast to make the overall statue 20 in

Carlos, what are your plans and thinking on the custom base? Still a while before my Black Widow arrives so looking forward to seeing some ideas I was thinking of encorporating some of the same battle-damaged tarmac from the Hulk Maquette statue thus getting these two characters displayed together...apparently their relationship becomes more involved in Avengers 2 so that's a good connection to make also

I have serveral ideas Andy! I just made a list of several things, here are some examples:

-A based style after the ship (of the opening of TWS), with boxes [like Snoopy posted]. Boxes will be what holds her up, and rivet some of the bottom base.
-On top of a building, I may do a ledge with either the Avengers logo or Stark tower (I base this from Avengers movie, when she attacked the Tesseract).
-Shield Helicarrier, with her on top of a helicopter being carried away.
-The back of a car, like Manhattan scene or TWS.


I have a few others, but I really like these above!
