Love the statue, but hate the glass boxes. It takes away from the piece and is lazy in design and execution. I love the glass base, but the cubes is killing this... and by killing, I mean in a negative sense.

I like the piece outside of that, but anyone can see it takes away from the piece. Having her foot on something a little more creative than translucent blocks could really set this piece off in the right direction.

I'm comparing the price to the Sucker Punch girls
250$ for most
last girl was 300$ and way more complex than this

While true, if the paint job is as good as their sucker punch line, then the production pieces will have a paint application that far exceeds the factory paint jobs we get with SSC.

While I agree that the clear base is lackluster, I don't really have a problem with it.

I have the Sucker Punch Babydoll statue with the clear base and I hardly think about the base when I look at that beautiful statue.

As long as the paint app and the sculpt is great then I'm a happy camper!

This is my favourite black widow 1/4 scale statue despite the perspex blocks lol. If the likeness turns out as well as this in the production pieces I will definitely purchase. I was considering buying a sideshow one (the latest comic version) but wasn't completely sold on it. I will hang on for this one at present.

Sure but Sideshow has been stepping it up lately with their recent releases.

I really like this statue. I think I'm going to go pretty deep with CA:TWS collectibles but it's too soon for me to commit to a preorder before I see what Hot Toys and Sideshow have in the pipeline.

GG has set the bar pretty high though.
