My Stormtrooper arrived from CA to Rochester, NY safe and sound! The shipping box was mint as well!

My Stormtrooper showed up yesterday and was fine. It was sitting on a little bed of crumpled paper with 3 cardboard reinforcements along side the figure blister.

I didn't get any reinforcements! I'm jealous!

I ordered Thursday night and haven't even got a shipping notice or anything. Is that normal?

Maybe that means I'll be one of the lucky ones to get the new packing style.

I've never found GG to be very quick shippers, and in some cases they take quite a long time. I haven't gotten any notice either if it makes you feel better.

After my stormtrooper was charged it took them about 3 days to ship so I'm not worried! I'm expecting Boba to ship Monday!

I think... GG made a mistake with Boba's Blaster.

If I remember correctly... Boba is the only figure in the entire Kenner collection with a blue "Stormtrooper" Blaster instead of a black one.

Do correct me if I am wrong.

I think it came with both. I went back and looked through Vintage Star Wars book and the Boba Fett's in there have black blaster. Even odder is there is a Boba Fett on a Star Wars card

Yes. He was essentially a "preview" figure on a SW card before they switched to TESB cards.

And the vintage Fett figures shipped with both blue and black blasters (but they were initially blue).

GG also made a mistake with the paint. The tool on his right leg should be painted orange.

Hmmm...I just got a UPS Quantum View from a company called AFC WORLDWIDE EXPRESS. Anyone know if that's Gentle Giant's handiwork? My order still shows as Not Yet Shipped but you know how those Order Status things can be sometimes...
