They mostly just use it for vader(but ya can others) but if ya want to know more i suggest going to medi-world and ask them cause i don't use them and i'm not an expert on it.But i think we have a tutorial somewhere.

Is he wearing chaps?

Ugh, I was gonna get him, now I'm not so sure. I never noticed that before.

EDIT: Okay, so I ordered one...just in case he looks better in hand. :D

I just recieved my Icons Ghost Rider and Bike. The bike is amazing for a toy level product. The flames could do with a repaint but other than that its great. Now I just need to grab a Medicom GR to go with it.

I went the same route. The Bike is great. Heck, even the figure ain't bad at all (considering the set can be had for around thirty bucks). But I ordered the Medicom version to perch atop the bike on display.

As much as I hate to admit it I picked up two to the RAH Ghost Rider figures. One to put on the bike out on display, the other to go in my display cabinet. Have to admit that I saw the movie and like the effects but hated the overall movie.

No doubt that the movie buzz is selling this figure fast! The movie might not have been perfect but the character and the figure are awesome!

I also picked up the bike originally to pose with the RAH figure. I had read reviews of the set and thought it was pretty nifty, but when I actually had the figure and bike in hand I was really impressed; pictures I've seen of it don't do it justice, IMO. I'm thinking of keeping the figure on the bike as is, because it does look pretty cool in and of itself. :) I'll probably swap out that plastic chain though...

I really wanted this one but after seeing the Spidey Trinity I canceled it to go that route instead....I hope I don't regret it.

Zipper looks better, can't say i'm too impresed with the skull or flames overall though. The proto skull looked really nice but this one not so much.

two words, heavy flash.

oh gosh remeber the inital pics of wolverine?

now those made him look horrible, don't get me wrong... I love the fact that these guys share their pics right when they get their figures.. but I like to reserve judgement till it's either in hand or better pics.

Thats true of the paint, but these angles in the photographs show the skull sculpt in a way i hadn't seen, and in a way i find thoroughly unappealing:

That just looks really wierd, skulls are a very common thing to see image wise cause its a very comman image for dark things, and are very commonly done, and that is honestly a very weird looking skull...

And its interesting to see that they've gone with colored translucent flames instead of solid painted ones, which is what everyone seemed to dislike about the hasbro 12" gr, hwo the flames looked cheap and unrealistic. Though i dont think they are that bad i just wonder if anyone will bother to still think that now that its a medi figure heh.

From the front he still looks pretty decent but the shaping of the skull and cheak bones and jaw is just very wrong in different angles.

It was a production figure shown at toyfair.

the sculpt's the same, and even with the flash, you can obviously see the two tone colors on the flame, just wait till we get better pictures. :lol

and the eyes are seethrough, translcent(sp?) with light shineing through the back, you can see the eyes as flames.. pretty cool IMO.

Like i said the heavy flash is a perfectly good explination for the paintwork, but my real problem is with the sculpt of hte skull itself. The proto looked good its head was really the only part i liked about it, and now from these other angles this skull looks.... well wrong. Its just not a good skull. And considering its hte most prominent feature of the character i'd assume they would do a better job. Flames and paint aside the skull is just not good.

Couple that, with the things i've already pointed out as problems, namely the completely inaccurate costume, and i just dont see the point in him. For guys that want a clothed 12" GR, fine get it enjoy it, but for wanting a Movie GR, im perfectly content with the one i payed $40 for, that looks better, and actually came with the bike.

ghost rider has a pretty exaggerated skull to begin with, as hes a superhero... a uncanny entity of the dark realm.

the cheeck bones etc are all exaggerated, and not based on real human skulls I believe.
