Yes but that skull actually looks alot better, its got more to it, its not as caved in at the nose, and the cheek bones aren't as exaggerated.

And in general GR's skulls are well skulls and most skulls look pretty similiar, they have a constant design that alot of people tend to follow, medis has some areas just done wierdly that kind of throws it off.

And if you want to get into facts here this is a MOVIE GR figure, and everyone seems willing to flatly ignore how completely innaccurate it is, not only in costume but in sculpt. The skull you says just exaggerated, i say it is waaaaaay to much, considering whats in the movie:

Even if you exaggerate that to make it darker or more dramatic you get what sideshow did with their maquettes, looking at sideshows, in all honesty and not trying to condemn fans of it, it looks like something i'd find in wal mart for haloween.

I know it's very inaccurate, but this is exactly how it was in the prototype pictures. :lol which is all I really care about, I can give a rats ass about the movie. :rotfl, it was good though.

I just think its a shining example of standing by a product more for the company that made it, or the style that its in rather than the actual quality of the product.

I can understand wanting a 12" clothed GR, and being your only option i guess you guys gotta get it and if you like it, thats fine. But i can't agree that its a good product, or is what it SHOULD be, which is a fine representation of the ghost rider character from the movie, the way that the X3 wolverine was. To me thats a glaringly obvious flaw. But hey if your willing to accept it, thats fine.

Me im just voicin my thoughts on it.

something IMO, is fishy about the design.. both Medicom and Sideshow Ghost Riders differs from the movie..

Nice pics!! I cancelled my GR RAH order and went with the two maquettes instead....the zipper bothered me on the RAH..but I liked the idea of posing him.....now he's sold out....live and learn...

The design is wrong on both sideshow and medis, and i dunno why. I've questioned it before but there seems to be no real answer. Except that maybe they based off early concept artwork and the movie didnt use that in the end.

And front shots aren't really making me like him any better, it comes down to his jaw, the sides are just too narrow, they shoudl be spread out more it'd fill out the skull a little better and make it look more proportionate, he just has too narrow a jaw and his teeth look odd that way.

The clear through the eyes is neat though.

No doubt it's the ol' "early concept" reason.By the time they changed to the other design both companies were so far in development for their statues and the figure that it was too late to change things in time to get the products out around the time they wanted to.

I do prefer the "final" look in the movie, but this doesn't bother me at all and I am very excited to get the RAH Ghost Rider. I already have the Ultimate GR Hellcycle waiting for him! :chew

I know you guys hate this figure but i just want to show off how much i love it one last time before you spear me for blasphemy....

Great pic Magnuz! Where is that from? Not the RAH....not the maquette...I'm stumped.

That's from the Toy Biz 12" Ghost Rider and Bike set you can find at stores for around $40. He also did a few modifications by adding plastic flames from another Toy Biz figure.

If i could just find some good 1/6th scale basic link chain he'd be complete, but i can't find any hte proper size anywhere.

Anyone know if any 1/6th accessory places would have regular link chain like that? Hardware stores seem to only have twisted link chain stuff in the smaller size.

Try the crafts store in the hobby jewelry section.

I have, all they have is decorative chain, twist link things like that. It just seems that they dont mass produce normal o link chain like he uses in the movie, on a smaller scale like this.
