The Zipper is too large, which sucks (no, I don't have any zippers that are 4 inches long). And he has no shoulders, which might be okay for a skeleton but Ghost Rider should have some shoulders. I know people say Medicom has the best basic bodies, but this shows that they aren't all that great.

actually...lol it depends how you pose it.. you can make the shoulders slop, or broad..

(i.e This is a basic body, not the RAH301 Massive)

I have to ask, am i the only one who sees how innaccurate the medi's costume is?

Example:

For reasons i've not seen explained, Medi decided to give GR dark blue jeans, with black leather chaps, spiked boots with spurs, and larger spiked gauntlets. Whereas the movie, with every picture i've managed to find of him, he has straightfoward leather pants, over his normal boots, and padded leather gloves with spike studs not large spikes.

I'm just curious why medi went this route, was this a concept art they based this on? Did they just wanna be different? I'm not knocking the quality of the figure or medi, despite the large zipper, but it just bugs me that he's not actually how he looks in the movie, when they did such a stupendous job on the x3 wolverine.

either based on concept, or that's GR2 :D , which probably wont be made since GR1 looks pretty crappy right now. Though I'll go see it anyways.

whatever it's based on, the SS modern GR maquette has the long spikes on the gauntlets and the same boots as well.

Thats what makes me wonder if its based on concept art they designed but then tweaked in the final film.

You gotta wonder why a guy riding a motorcycle needs spurs though....

I'm leaning with the idea that this proto is based on early concept work.

Hopefully they did change the final production but I really don't mind so much, he looks awesome either way.

I dig the spurs, imagine if he kicked someone in the face with them. ;)

Oh wait.....I got a better comment:

Ghost Rider's spurs are his brakes....cause the Hellcycle doesn't need have any! :D

I have a few of these so I know you can repose the shoulders, which may help out a bit. But they don't seem broad enough for my tastes.

You're right about that. I just bought a 7" Toy Biz Ghost Rider and the costume is very different.
I kind of like the chaps and spurs look, I don't like the gloves or gauntlets. He needs more spikes.

ahh I see.. do you have the massive bodies? they have broader shoulders.

but yeah I agree, the regular medicom bodies are a bit lean, but not everyone is a body builder. heh

Hmm...a wire in the chain?Could be used for some cool posing once I get ahold of the figure.

Any idea when this guy is shipping? The movie is going to be out in a few weeks!

Wow! That looks pretty sick... they did an amazing job of getting the flames and skull to work together!

I might cancel the RAH Ghost Rider...it looks a little off.

I'm not sure if the skull looks oversized or the shoulders are too small, the proportions look bad. I do like the sculpt though....

Decisions, decisions....:monkey2

You're insane and i'm dissappointed in a fellow Minnesotan.

lol j/k:D

Hey, I like the sculpt!

I don't like the fact that the shoulders are about as wide as the waist, doesn't look "heroish".

Besides, I have to save some money somewhere for the X-Men/Sentinel 2 and movie Venom statue!
