Underworld was better I guess...? I mean, this is kinda like a Phantom Menace type situation. I felt it had all the right pieces. Two directors who I love, and will see every movie they make, unleased Cage....but it just failed. And I felt so, so let down. So very, very let down.

Underworld was bad. But it didn't bother me because I saw it for free, and didn't drive 40 minutes and scrounge for change to see it. :lol

With that added, Underworld has nothing I really cared about. No actors I was interested in, director didn't do much for me, ect.

you are only confirming what i deep down already assumed... that review at IGN sort of left me hopeful, but hope doesn't go far these days.

I wish they weren't. I wish I could've enjoyed it. But it took itself too seriously, so when it didn't, I wasn't sure how to feel.

So did I. That was the N/T comic genius I wanted. :lol

I loved when they showed The Deal picture, and it was Mark and Brian. :lol

That ____ was funny as ____.

Yeah, those moments happened and I thought "okay...ya know what? I think this is gonna be great". Hell I even liked the flaming pee moment, which I hated initially. Then all the funny kind of fizzled out :(

"I'm like a flamethrower..."

*snickers*

:lol

Also, I totally called, on this other forum, that the flaming piss would be a imagination shot. No one believed me. :lol

I saw this movie earlier and.....I left with a negative impression. The movie felt so.......without action. I still cannot believe 99% of the action scenes in this have been shown in the trailers and tv spots (WTF, the 1st trailer actually showed the final blow to the "main enemy").

On the flip side, I was interested in how they made Ghost Rider behave. His low pitched talking, twitching, screaming, penance stare, and psychotic laughing were interesting to watch (His laugh in the huge flaming construction thing is stuck in my head).

I think they kinda started over doing the "black eyes" transformations though. They were everywhere in the movie.

I remember when he had the guy up against the wall and he said "I'm gonna let him ouuuuuut" :lol. There were quite a bit of funny moments, but like most people, I didn't come to see the movie for its humor (not intentionally at least). I came to see it for Ghost Rider, Action scenes, and a good story. Sadly enough, Ghost Rider is shown around 3-4 times, all action scenes have been shown on tv and trailers, and the plot did not hold up.

I think the best part about watching Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance........was The Amazing Spiderman Trailer they showed right before the movie began. It had me more exited than The Ghost Rider movie itself.

On a side note, Chronicle was good.

Both are just as unwatchable.

No director. In any way could make that horrible ____ script work. Period.

Ok

First GR movie is 100x better than this turd.

How the ____ did the quality go backwards. :slap

Impossible. Wes Bentley is the worst actor on the planet; that bastard belongs in Uwe Boll movies. I thought to myself "hey, maybe he just acted horrible in Ghost Rider Only".....until I saw Underworld Awakening and P2. :slap:mad::gah:

and his role as Blackheart/Smokeheart/Smokey little B!+(h blowed ass. To be honest, both movies have their moments like Ghost Rider riding up and down buildings on the first, and his fight scenes on the 2nd, but both have major problems that outweight any good they may have.
