The video game was sweet.

The videogame could have easily been a good third movie.

Amy pascal killed this entire franchise lol

The franchise didnt have to crash and burn like it did.

Couple of modern movies with a passing of the torch story would have been great.

The game really is great, and this is coming from someone who hardly ever plays. I think Chris Pratt would be great on a new team, Michael Pena maybe, Hayley Atwell.

Hayley Atwell.... mmmmm

They never acknowledged being a bad movie. Ever.

It was always blaming the trolls or sexism. The director did say he felt bad about working on a project that had such a big fanbase, that he didnt understand how big the fan base was and that he regretted answering to the "trolls"

But even when he said that he praised the actresses and said he made a very funny movie that people didnt give a chance to.

So no, he still blames the fans for the hate even after all this time

Feig = Trump

I think Trump has her beat as far as someone that sees everything he does as great and superior and completely denying the reality of the situation.

Hillary literally used the exact same tactic paul feig did almost word for word :lol.

I considered seeing this at some point, but a friend of mine who is also a hardcore GB fan claimed it was terrible. So, that pushed me over to the side of never wanting to waste my time. There are some great, young comedians and filmmakers who could have done this franchise justice, but the executive decisions were not great.

I consider myself a pretty hardcore GB fan, agree the movie was forgettable and had some terrible terrible parts. There are a couple things about the movie I really wish I could "unsee". I agree some executive decisions were not great, and that's putting it politely. I would recommend seeing it though if you can do so on the cheap or free. There were a couple fun moments (I liked a mannequin scene), Dan and Ernie's cameos were cute (though I kind of feel bad they are associated at all with that film now), some neat ideas with the tech, and then you can judge it on it's own merit with you. I thought a couple of the actresses were great, but couldn't carry the movie to being great themselves. You may hate it, but at least you can justify that hate yourself and help you define what you do or don't like in GB stories or franchises.

As a gb fan the crappy cameos will piss you off a lot.

Those cameos alone are very insulting to the legacy of gb.

Specially Murray. It is a pretty embarrasing Cameo.

The blonde girl is extremely cringy too. She might be one of the worst characters ive ever seen

I was shocked how bad Kate McKinnon was. Did Feig just laugh at anything they did and say: That's great, that's in! Like a lap dog.

The circus colors of the movie bugged me too. Looked like Schumacher's Gotham light show. Between the lighting, the acting, the awkward transitions and the dancing, seems like Feig was definitely channeling Schumacher's Batman.

I not sure casting Seth Rogen and the usual Aptow gang would have been as bad... but it certainly would have been formulaic and had a lot of pot and man-meat jokes.

I don't think the type of comedians we have right now are right for Ghostbusters. Although Alec Baldwin would make a good Dcikless.
