Here's better Winston pics from Google as opposed to screen caps.
Tell me what you think. I think all three here are great, but #3 really shows off that "working man" skepticism. Is that the one you were talking about?

Here we go...gonna paste the Wiki picture in here for reference. I think this one is still the perfect expression for Winston :) I think if we went with #3 in the one you suggested, the sculpt might end up a little bug-eyed.

damn you!! i had that place bookmarked. i was gonna order soon.

Sorry about that, man...if it makes you feel better, I may be switching to a set of tan flightsuits. I bought one to experiment with on removing the leg pockets since the chest pockets were more accurate to the movie. If I decide to switch gears, I'll give you first dibs on the Prison overalls I got.

i hear ya. that is a little spendy especially if you want 4. i recently emailed an ebayer about quoting 4 alice packs for me. it would be almost $70 for 4 shipped.:horror
maybe i should just make 1 ghostbuster.

I bought one of the DML Alice packs. My thought is to use it as a template to scratchbuild the other three from styrene.

Hi "Willam Shatner's Toupee". I got on board with you for the Ada Chan Bishop from ALIENS head sculpt. I have seen Ada's work and I'm very impressed with it.

Please put me down for one of each of the heads for the four Ghostbusters (unpainted):
1. Peter Venkman
2. Ray Stantz
3. Winston Zeddemore
4. Egon Spengler

Please also put me down for 4 proton packs. I tried to start a Ghostbusters custom head thread request about a year ago on this board. One member volunteered (I can't remember his board name), but it never got off the ground. I do have a Bill Murray Andgor head, and I painted it and put it on a Dragon body with a light brown jumpsuit and black boots. I'll have to post my pictures of it here soon. I still have to do some painting on the head, but I'm all for a much better head from Ada, for him and the other three guys. Zeddemore and Egon and impossible to find anywhere else. So getting Ada to do them will be great. I also found a Dan Aykroyd head, and put some Super Sculpey on his hair to give it that poofy "1980s" hair style he had back in 1984. It came out okay, but I'd love a better Aykroyd/Stantz head from Ada.

So, I'm "all in". The 4 Ghostbusters unpainted heads, and 4 proton packs. Those proton packs look great all painted! I don't think the jumpsuits/outfits will be that hard to do. I'd appreciate if you, or anyone else that has Photoshop would consider printing off sets of the nametags and Ghostbusters logos for the outfits for us who don't have Photoshop. Maybe you could sell them to us pretty cheap as part of this big custom Ghostbusters project? I hope so.

I'll PM you William Shatner's Toupee soon about the custom Bishop head from Ada. I'm still in for it too, and last I heard things were going great on that project. Thanks again! :D

So, yesterday my 12 inch pack and trap from Nick a tron arrived, ery fast shipping, in a nice box and carefully wrapped, the items came in flawless condition. Here is my review of the items , and how they look on my figure.

nice vid.:rock
i was wondering if these would be heavy on the figure. i always use a stand anyway and im gonna try to use a truetype body so it shouldn't be a big problem. i hope i can replicate the detail on these. it looks like it might be a big project to detail 4 of these. but that'll be half the fun. just a matter of gluing pieces of wire to it. dont know what ill use for that ribbon cable though. might just have to cut out a small strip of cloth material and try painting it or something.

Hey Mike, I have collected the references of the nametags and Ghost logo shoulder patches and will scale them appropriately in photoshop. I'm also looking into running off sets on 'patch-like' stock similar to how Chris Chulamanis did the NASA patches and the USCM patches in 1/6 scale. I would be happy to offer them up to my fellow freaks making GB customs. Stay tuned!

Awesome!!

I know a few companies do custom 1/6 shirts...was thinking about seeing if one of them would be intrested in making some black shirts for our figures with a GB logo on the left breast or something, and "We're ready to believe you!" on the back. They'd be mostly covered up by the jumpsuits, but I thought they'd be neat.

Wow, that is a great idea! Similar to the custom Drake shirts I saw on these boards for the ALIENS Drake figure. When he isn't strapped into his armor and smart-gun, he's wearing a brown tank-top with an image of a gun on it or something...
