So I went through 2 screen capture sites for Ghostbusters tonight. Spent alot of time there downloading ref pics and making files for Ray, Winston, Egon, and... Louis (since I was there).

I know we are using the already made Egon head, but again, I was there, so why not, also JIC? Tonight I'll thow some of the choicier Ray pics up.

The nice thing is with Peter, you want a smart ass look, with Egon, you want the souless scientist/serious look, but with Ray and Winston, you could really go for anything to give the grouip some variety: Serious, scared, comical, etc.

So without further Apu ("Oh, I was 'zinged'!"), some Ray choices-

Not a lot of great ref pics on those sites where he's not squinting in mid-expression, but these are from captures, I haven't Googled any publicity shots yet.

Interesting point. Maybe he favors that side in movies as his "good side"?
I just posted the pics I found with 1:6 potential expressions. I grabbed other angles for her to sculpt from. These are just for us to choose his actual "look".

I think this one or the one below would still be best:

For Winston, I'm still liking the Wiki picture from his interview with Janine the best. It's got that perfect skepticism/disbelief look that I liked about his character as the 'normal' guy in the Ghostbusters. I'll detatch the picture and upload it here later tonight for a reference in the thread...but I still think it works best.

Either expression is ok for me, but i love the face when he´s about to slide down the pole at the fire house before they buy it. He´s the child of the 4 gbs.

I agree on both on both of these. Your point about Winston is right on--he's the normal guy just looking for a "steady paycheck" so the half-cocked, skepticism/disbelief look would work.

I'm not buying the Winston head, so feel free to ignore me, but I wonder if a composite sculpt would work best - the bottom half of the second photo (ie the closed mouth) combined with the raised eyebrows and furrowed brow of the third photo (but not the mouth). I know that sounds weird (and good luck explaining that to Ada) but that was my thought.
