hey elvis1976, did u sell that ray recently on ebay?? i 1st saw it on there actually, i like that suit, is it this one:

if it is, i take it u removed the badges that were already on it, did u have much trouble doing that?

is the colour to that suit pretty right compared to film stills?? did u need to redye or anything at all??

and did u use 1 of nicks packs?

Yes that's the one i sold on ebay! Actuallt the patches are easy to remove and the colour is the right one! I didn't die mine! and yes it was nick's pack

the suit colour looks better in your photos then it does on the stock photo on monkey depot!! i jst thought id ask as the colour is important, i didnt want it to be too dark or too light. it looks alot lighter on the monkey depot site!!

did the patches leave any marks on your suit when u took them off?

No when i remove the patches it did'nt leave any trace!
Also i put the suit in a mixture of black paint and a lot of water to darken it a bit!

Hey brothers-in-jumpsuits!

I just wanted to update to you all that Chris has been hard at work on a number of heads recently getting started on all of these group commissions after the hectic Christmas season of his dayjob kept him from starting them a lot sooner like he had initially planned. We really, really thank you all for your kind patience. The quality Chris is putting into these will be well worth the wait.

Ray is just about ready to be debuted. I was told to tell you he is coming soon. So soon, I'd say don't be surprised if a new thead opened up soon called THE C HOWES GHOSTBUSTERS THREAD, and this old Ada one is finally retired permanantly as Chris starts one for his own GB series.

Chris also might have a WIP special suprise in addition to Ray to announce for fun as an apology for your wait that is gonna knock you on your asses.
One clue: Answers to penguins?

ahh right, i thought yours looked slightly darker than the pic on monkey depot! altho ithink its better that udid cos it looks little too light poss b4?

i jst found afew jumpsuits and cant decide which to go for so thanks for the info on yours!!

did it fit the figure ok? not too big/small?? tight or baggy etc?

BTW: I started painting my first Peter head today and realized that she casted really bad quality. The nose one my second head is so thin that there is almost none. Good that I have two and some experience in sculpting, so I can fit this issue. Even better that WST decided to switch to Chris. I do not believe I will get quality like this bull^^^^ from Howes... Thanks that you took over Chris!

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It burns my biscuits when I see people crapping out on quality.

I ALWAYS try to keep the quality at the highest level possible. If that means I have to throw away half my casts then so be it. So, I hope you'll be satisfied with what you get fro me.

I've been harboring the secret hope that once you get Stanz, Zeddemore, and Spengler done, you might go back to revisit Venkman for those of us who want a fully matching Chris Howes set!

@ Chris: For some reaon I am really not worried about the quality you will offer us, though I have never bought anything before.

and too big u say>?? way too big or jst alittle?? it doesnt look out of place tho on all the figs ive seen!! so iwouldnt have known ahah.

@ Proton Packs size: They are not totally out of scale but simply not exactly movie accurate in size. But from my point of view this does not make them worse. They become even better as this size matches wonderfully to the 1/6 scale. Anything else would have looked too small I think. So they are awesome. Sorry for giving a wrong impression.

Hey kinggrayskull, yeah thats what iwas thinking of, a cool looking 'wet/slimed' look with a shocked/sacrastic look on his face like in the shot where hes laid on the floor aswel as having his hair looking wet brushed back sort of, if usee what i mean.

also, yeah ur post was the 1st post isaw saying the packs where alittle out of size but i misunderstood ahah, yeah they dont look odd at all, all the figures ive seen who have used nicks packs look fine 2me, and witha good paint job they look awsome!!

you have got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no 1 told me, i was at work and it came to me that it would look cool, like the bank robber joker head with his hair kinda greased back look....but venks with a slimed back look lol...with patches of green for slime if ur guna do it painted....also u could maybe make the patches of green paint look glossy/shiney??? that might add to a slimed look chris??

I'm all in for a set of the four Ghostbusters heads from Chris Howes. After hearing mostly negative reviews of Ada Chan's head of Venkman, I'm SO glad I didn't get one from her! What a relief.
