The Hollywood Reporter was decidedly not kind. Their final verdict was "bust" (heh).

The unfunny mess that hits theaters Friday, like a big goopy splat of ectoplasm, will no doubt make those naysayers feel vindicated.

Not only did she outlive him (which makes sense) but, in a triumph of feminist jealousy ... she actually led the Spartans into battle at the end of the sequel. Which is stupid.

I was actually hoping that this would be kinda like the Robocop reboot which everyone hated (including myself) but it turned out not bad at all, but it seems this is not the case for Ghostbusters. Oh well.
