Rose Byrne should have been in this (Bridesmaids alumni), maybe she was the McKinnon role but dropped out.

Can't stand Sarah Silverman personally. So she'd be right for this too. McCarthy is funny in small doses. She would make a great female Slimer.


I just hope this movie proves once and for all that women are funny too... so we can get past that whole thing at long last and finally explain to Lucille Ball that she was ahead of her time and clearly no one thought she was funny.

Sony is just...so out of touch. I genuinely don't know how that studio is able to stay above water with asinine idea after asinine idea. The only half-intelligent thing I can think of that they've done in the past few years is signing the Disney Spider-Man deal. Prior to that, though? Spider-Man "shared universe?" Robocop remake? Total Recall remake? Male and Female Ghostbusters reboots as part of a shared "Ghost Universe?" It's pretty bad when you can directly link that many ****ty to mediocre ideas to a single studio.

You forgot the planned 21 Jump Street/Ghostbusters/Men In Black crossover movie...
