Ghostbusters reboot with all-female leads

Murray's still awesome. I just wish they'd put this **** to bed. It's like they're parading around...well, a ghost. Maybe I'll get my man card revoked; I don't give a ****; Feig and McCarthy's movies (together, that is) aren't that bad. I laugh my ass off watching most of them, so, I'd say they're pretty good at their jobs, but I'm torn between two worlds, here, because, while I, typically, like the movies they do together, the part of me that's a Ghostbusters fan wants to hate it on principle, alone.

I'm tired of hating this movie. I think this whole Ghost Corps. venture, male and female-centric films, alike, is ****ing stupid, but what are you gonna do? I'm probably just going to put all of this stuff out of my mind. It can be funny; good, even, but I don't care how many logos, Proton Packs, cameos, or Ecto-1s they have, it will never be Ghostbusters, and neither will the other one.

you know.. my OnLy complaint with this film, is that's it's a reboot that ignores the existing content. it would have made an excellent ghost busters 3, i think.

Good for him. I've always loved his movies. My favorite being Little Shop of Horrors.

This reeks of another needless reboot. I'll stick with the first two, thank you (and yes, I've got a lot of love for the sequel which I always found underrated). Only good I see coming from this reboot is it'll introduce new fans to the older movies and maybe people will finally soften on GB2.
