Cause PS3 sucks for playing games. They make you download crap before you can play. I hated that about Metal Gear Solid 4...

I keep wanting to buy 360 games so that if it breaks, MS will fix it (already got RROD once). If the PS3 goes out, I'm SOL. But that damn noise the 360 makes is a pain, the PS3 controller is better, and the resale value of games is lower for the 360. . .

Cool, thanks for the info. I've got a 1st generation 360 and it sounds like a jet firing up when the disc loads! I'll have to give this a try with a few of my regulars.

For 360 game it doesn't always help load times, some of the games have different ways of running off the disc and hard drive so they actually load slower if they are installed to the hard drive--like Halo 3 or Grand Theft Auto IV. But later this year they will be adding a service where you can buy and download full Xbox 360 games through Xbox Live and they will be modified to play correctly from the hard drive.

just go with the PS3 version....the death rate of the consoles is signifiantly less than the 360
I realize that, too, but I use it all the time for Blu Rays and PS exclusives, and want to use it for years to come. If the 360 goes out, I can get it replaced for free, and maybe one of these days they will replace it with a durable version. . .if I don't use it enough, I'm sure it will break again, but possibly after the warranty runs out.

So how does the Co-Op and Multiplayer work? For Co-Op are you just a couple of new recruits? And for Multiplayer, can you play as one of the original busters???

By that time, there will be better technology, a new playstation console, and a new digital high def format. Doesn't make sense to plan for the future when dealing with electronics.

I've been playing this a bit tonight and I really love the game. I got it for the 360, so I can play online if I so wish...

As an old school GB fan, this really is a treat. As soon as the opening started up, I was pretty damn giddy and might as well have been 8 yrs old again. And lighting up Slimer the first time.... Priceless. :monkey2

The voice work is very nice as well, with Murray being the only one that comes off less than what he was. But still, I can forgive... I'm just glad to have him along. There are a few bits where he gets right back into character though, and that had me laughing. Ernie Hudson sounds like he hasn't aged a day, which cracks me up.

The game is a blast too, just stays full blast... hardly any rest. It's definitely more fast paced than the films, but that's great to me. I didn't mind the little blast away guys either, they are tough to get used to at first... but they change things up a bit to keep it from getting monotonous. I love using the PKE to "snap" shots of the ghosts for the log, that was a nice touch.

Overall, it's a great game. Nothing too heavy, but very fun... and a hilarious ride down memory lane. It makes me really really want another GB movie.. :lol

I know it's like having Bill Murray doing an impression of Bill Murray playing Peter Venkman. :rotfl

But it's an awesome game I just started the
Stay-Puff level
ya ya I know I'm only on Level 2.

I just finished up the stay-puft level myself. Over-all a very fun game. I died quite a few times in the alley walking up to stay-puft, but I finally got the hang of slamming the ghosts. If you are a GB fan, it is a must play.

Just finished the game, it's alot of fun. Took about 8-10 hours or so. I wish it were a bit longer but it's forgivable since it's still 8 hours of new Ghostbusters actually written by Ramis and Aykroyd. Everything in the game feels right and some moments really acheive the spirit of the original films. I wish the PC had Multiplayer, but as far as single player it was a solid 8/10. Definately get this, escpecially if your on a console and can extend the play value with coop and mp.

I got the PS2 version which is pretty much the same as the Wii one, minus the online features...
It's awesome!!
I was going to wait until I bought a PS3 later this year, but couldn't resist yesterday...
I'm glad I got it, it's an awesome game!!!

I don't do multiplayer, and am not sure if I can justify $50+ for an 8 hour experience. . .

Sounds like a rental.
