He doesn't. Arnold Vosloo is in it. But that could be during the last 30 seconds of the film...so who knows.

Cool ninjas, or moves, doesn't mean it's a good movie.
I mean, the movie is there for the hardcore fans I suppose.
And nothing will phase them to love this movie. And that's fine.

I just feel, like most movies based on cartoons or toys are not that great and usually kinda weak (Tranformers, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Masters of the Universe, to name a few)

Maybe I'm wrong though.

I meant Harry Knowles liked that one too. And he likes this one.

But that movie is pretty bad.

Bingo!
This is the third or fourth review someone has posted to show how much better this will be, and every single reviewer gave positive reviews for Rise of Cobra, so it doesn't prove anything. :slap

Just saw the paper cut out cartoon Retaliation commercial on Cartoon Network. :lol

Gotta admit, they're going all out on advertising for this one.

In the newer trailers, you see the presidents face morph out a little and it shows Arnold Vosloo (Zartan). I hope that's not the extent of it.

Theres a scene in the CC video...
that has CC in a white uniform and helmet running along and firing and I wondered if CC actually has a white uniform he wears or if this isn't Zartan posed as CC and shown in mid change.
...maybe reaching, but its the only time I've seen that outfit so far. :dunno

the only reason, ONLY reason i'm going to see this, is because of the Rock and Willis, other than that i'd never waste a dime on this piece of shat. the last one was so ****ing bad I would've got up and walked out if my boy wasn't with me.

^same reviews that said ROC was a great movie. not very promising. :/

:lecture

of course the reviewers are going to say its good..they get PAID to

it's the same ole same ole..

and I am sure the TV set will tell you its 4 stars! Go see the biggest hit of the summer! blah blah blah....that is how they sell tickets. The indoctrination brainwashing Box says it's good,so I'll go see it

EVRYTHIN IS CONSPIRACY. GOVERZMENT CONTROLS US ALL TO LEAD US INTO THE DULCE BASE!

Fear the Dulce base!

(I love the Dulce Base. :lol)

As long as they are moving in the right direction I guess I'll be happy. Since this movie seems to be "ninja" centric, maybe at least this line of thinking will get us showcase movies. It would be fairly cool to have another movie and maybe have the spotlight shine on some Cobra newblood and it could focus on Zartan's family tree along with them Drednoks, etc... I'm fairly sure I'll never get a Joe movie that fulfills my every wish so I'm going into this one with an open mind and try to enjoy what I can.

I have to admit that I plan on seeing this film regardless of the fact that I've yet to watch the first film completely. I tried a few times, but I just can't finish it. To me the first film is an abomination to all things GI JOE.

The sequel interested me since last year due to casting (i.e. Dwayne Johnson/The Rock as ROADBLOCK or ROADROCK as some are quipping along with Bruce Willis as General Joe/Joseph Colton) and the ninja centric action.

The thing that bothers me a bit after culling through a variety of online information is the ninja commando schtick where ROADBLOCK is a ninja commando, etc.?

Granted, I understand how some things need to be altered for the film, but . . . ROADBLOCK a ninja commando? That's pretty damned silly@$$.

If I want to watch a ninja commando film then I'll watch AMERICAN NINJA, AMERICAN NINJA 2: THE CONFRONTATION, & AMERICAN NINJA 4: THE ANNIHILATION in that order.

;)

:exactly: This is what sparked my interest of this sequel too. I was very impressed with the first film so I'm hoping this new one will live up to the hype of the frachise name!

They should put this dude in the next sequel.
