G.I. Joe: Retaliation releases tomorrow (March 28, Thursday) in US, but it's already released today in UK, France, India and few other countries. Sadly it's still not playing in my local multiplex at Cinepolis, hopefully it will be there by Friday.

Feel like a small team, when in the first one it was this huge organization, no Pit, no USS Flagg...not a whole lot of tech from them actually

- It took itself a bit too seriously at times... say what you will about ROC but at list it was quite entertaining, this one seemed to drag a little too long.

The first one was a bit campy, but I feel it was more fun.

Saw this tonight. Give it a 5/10. And that's a step up from the first one. But it's bad. Just boring and pointless. This series better stop. Now.

I loved G.I. Joe as a kid, primarily the comics. Why nobody can make a good movie is beyond me.

Don't tell the NERDS at Hisstank...that website is glorifying the movie like they did Rise of Crap

Again, it's a much better movie, but for some reason it felt like a smaller movie...

I am talking about the delusional (Hisstank members especially) who are so Drunk on GI Joe,they can't see another bad Joe movie in front of them and then calling it Great.

They front paged Retaliation as OFFICIALLY AWESOME! Really??

The Aint it cool review gives an honest review as the movie and plot was all over the place apparently.Even your short review, you didn't think it was great..slapping on a cobra and Joe symbol,some action and explosions does not make for a great movie

Of course, but that doesn't mean that people who enjoyed it are not honest... or other reviewers that see it as a better movie are not honest.
That's the issue, you single-handedly discredited all the others reviews just because...

I'm not excited about the MOTU movie at all anymore unfortunately...
But until he starts shooting the damn thing, I'd reserve my opinion of him as a director. Let's not forget this movie has been in development hell and they could easily change directors again...

I took my son to see it last night. It felt smaller and cheaper than the last one. They moved from a trillion dollar underground complex to a little spot in the desert with three jeeps and a hut. Etc. It didn't quite have the same Saturday morning sci-fi cartoon feel as the first movie, which some people will probably like. But it felt smaller and didn't have the visuals and scale of the first one.

Yep, that was one of my biggest gripes with it... after all the Technology, vehicles, personnel and infrastructure of the first one, how the hell did they shrink into such a small operation?

Seriously though, I'm betting this is a good movie though.

Well, a decent movie. I mean, I'm not expecting anything provocative or profound. I'll just take it for what it is and judge it on that.
