Wow, I can't believe after all this time I've actually seen footage finally. The action doesn't look half bad in an Iron Man kind of way. Snake Eyes looked cool. I wonder if you just take it as "Snake Eyes and some black suit guys fight Baroness and some other random bad guys" instead of "GI Joe vs. Cobra" it might have some entertainment value. We'll see.

All right after watching it a few more times I notice that it seems to either rip off Iron Man or The Fantastic Four movies depending on the shot. The trailer even starts almost the exact same way as Iron Man with similar music and that Audi sports car pulling up. Marlon Wayans looked ridiculous, the actor playing Duke sounded terrible, and the "group shot" of them walking toward the camera was far from cool.

Im actually hype about the movie. THe movie looks good. I know it wont be a classic but it will be entertaining.

G.I. JOE! A REAL UNAFFILIATED WITH ANY NATION HERO!!!

No American flags on the posters, no 'Real American Hero' reference (which is even Hasbro's name for the toy line) and not one American flag in the trailer glimpse. It's feeling like "UN International Not American Specialist Team GO!" without calling it that.

Don't read back a few pages if you don't want to know (if that makes any sense ).

The absence of the "cough cough" Commander (I guess I need to see a doc about that cough ) and the lack of Zartan would either be good marketing or else it shows that the character designs are so weak that if shown there'd be an uprising.

I liked the Baroness--- that was about it from the trailer.

As opposed to some guy wearing a tight fitting black jumpsuit that looks like he walked out of an evil Siegfried and Roy show??

Seriously, I doubt his comic book appearance would translate over to live-action very well (similar to the X-Men costumes, and that's why those were altered).

I had my wife sit down and watch the trailer. Her reaction was that it looked like a movie about "Marlon Wayans and a bunch of ninjas flying around." I'm *so* glad that Marlon Wayans is given more prominence in the trailer than oh, I don't know, Snake Eyes, CC, Storm Shadow, etc, etc, etc.
