:rotfl:rotfl Too funny.

Anyone remember the original Knight Rider? In the pilot episode Michael Knight (briefly played by someone else) has plastic surgery to hide his new identity. David Hasselhoff becomes the new Michael Knight.... In later episodes he would fight a 18 wheeler with KITT like technology. Here's the clincher his evil twin brother(also played by Hasselhoff) was the driver of the truck. HOW could his evil twin brother look like him if he had plastic surgery in the pilot episode!!! Ahhhhhh my head!

No more cheesy than adding mascara to Kirk and a goatee to Spock. :huh :lol

HAHAHAHA!
That made my day! :rotfl

EDIT: And I agree with you 100% again. :)
The new 'Joe movie look's to be the next
Street Fighter, at best.
It's funny, because how many of us would
really choose a cheesy popcorn flick over
a film with substance that honours the already
existing history of G.I. Joe? I don't think we need
Shakespeare, but c'mon, if it's gonna look like this,
give us Van Damme. ;)
HAHAHA! :rotfl

Actually Garthe Knight wasn't Michael's brother...

Garthe was the son of Wilton Knight...

Wilton Knight was the man responsible for Michael Long's plastic surgery...

They purposely based his face on the face of Wilton's son and changed his last name to match..

both Wilton and Devon Miles thought that Garthe was Permanently incarcerated in a remote African prison at the time...

I'm so ashamed that i actually know that :monkey4

The second Snake Eyes in the vintage line (the one that came with Timber) seems to be the inspiration for the film's design, and believe it or not, that figure had a mouth moulded in the mask. In my opinion, Snake Eyes is the least of our worries with this movie.

I have that SE but I think its supposed to be the outline of his mouth showing through his mask. I agree there are many other things to be concerned about but I'm not the only one perplexed by this. hopefully there is time for them to go back and CGI that stupid looking mouth out.

actually the mouth detail on the snake eyes 1985 figure is supposed to depict the shape of his features under a cloth mask NOT to be a molded feature of his mask itself...

All due respect, but if you aren't the sculptor or haven't spoken to the sculptor about this topic, would it not be safe to say your statement is speculation?

Nah, the original RAH figures were clearly molded to match the card art. 85 Snakes definitely didn't have a mouth molded into the mask.

So after reading all of this and seeing the pics, are we sure this isn't a spoof film? I mean, are we supposed to take this seriously or what?

From wikipedia

In addition to playing Michael Knight, Hasselhoff also played a double role in the Season Two feature-length episodes Goliath and Goliath Returns, portraying not only Michael Knight but also Wilton's biological son Garthe Knight. At the time of Michael's surgery, Garthe was imprisoned in Africa. Believing that his son would never be seen again, Wilton had Michael's face modeled after Garthe's.[4] In the pilot episode, both Devon Miles and Wilton stated that Michael actually resembled the face of Wilton himself as a young man. The novels written after the series aired described Michael's reconstructed face as based on images of both a young Wilton and Wilton's son. In any event, the Garthe storyline would not go beyond the second season, primarily due to Hasselhoff's request that the doppelgänger villain be ended, due to the time it took to be made up and film both the roles of Michael and Garthe.

Could be worse... at least one they didn't completely butcher.

I guess I missed that Snake Eyes had a mouth up until now... that is just shameful. Actually looks worse than Optimus Prime having a mouth.

At least Prime could cover it up in "battle mode." :lol
