"So you want to rule the world, huh? And that plastic clear vagina on your face, what's that all about?"

:lecture

It's not about whether he's a jerk or a nice guy... he's just a complete cipher as a filmmaker.

No one would care if he continued to make movies like DEEP RISING (which is an awful movie, but actually very fun to watch). But he keeps getting handed franchises and characters that many people actually care about (and in the case of the Universal Monsters, classic characters that are lauded)... and he completely pisses all over them.

I agree....but the Mummy is awesome. That I disagree with. Besides, The Mummy isnt the same as the 30's Mummy. So I dont see how its ruined at all...

I still want that CC. Thats totally Deadpool. I bet Hasbro was going to make one, and then ditched the concept, and through that head on CC.

Wow that figure is craptastic, not bad though for $15. Horrible design for Cobra Commander, but we knew that.

they are on sale at TRU for $12 this week, but even then i cant see myself using any other part of that figure for a custom.

(Yes that's supposed to be the same guy.)

JESUS! Looks like a horribly craptastic knockoff of a Universal Soldier sequel. And that's saying a LOT considering the Universal Soldier series was horribly craptastic to begin with.

As opposed to everyone in here crying about the G.I. Joe movie not being perfect!? Be careful where you throw those rocks, you might shatter this forum's glass estate.

In this case it's better to be the crybaby than the fanboynewb defending a craptastic wannabe RoboCop/Iron Man/Universal Soldier movie. ;)

I'm pretty sure some of us on here have seen plenty more vaginas than that dude.

(Paying to see them does not count).

Besides, not being perfect is one thing. Being on the exact opposite end of the spectrum from perfect is another thing entirely. From everything we've seen/heard to this point there's hardly anything good about this movie at all.

Just hope that someone remakes it later. From everything I've heard about and seen from this movie, it makes the '87 Animated movie look like the F'n Godfather. :lol

I'd say BOTH are equally bad. :monkey3

No doubts there. And the '87 movie is pretty bad aside from the first 10 minutes.

I wonder if Larry Hama brought the check he received for being a consultant to every meeting he went to. So he could look at it whenever some asshat suggested something retarded.

Asshat: "Hey Larry.. we talked with Stephan.. and.. what we were thinking was.. what would really be super fantastic.. IS.. if we gave Snake Eyes like a muppet mouth and OH.. like make Storm Shadow kinda emo. And give him a cool looking six shooter. Like a cowboy. Ninja. What's your thoughts on that Larry?"

*Looks at all the zero's on his paycheck*

Larry: "Yes. That sounds money. I mean great. Money."

:duh

Some reviews are coming in over at aintitcool, like I said maybe better than TF2...

Here's my Litmus Test...

You should ask anyone who says "It's not that bad, it's actually dumb fun" if they feel the same way about VAN HELSING. If they say, "Yeah" then their opinion is worth about as much as a ROC action figure will be in 6 months.

my brother and i actually watched van helsing for the first time not too long ago. you know how sometimes it's fun to watch bad movies...in a mystery science theatre 3000 kind of way? that movie just make me angry. there was so much yelling and sceaming. it's like someone would deliver a line and then sommers would say, "yah, like that, but scream it."

same with mummy 3...which i know he didn't direct but he did produce. there were like, i don't know, every scene, where it was just, "ahhhhhhhhhh! gaaaaahhhhhhhhh! rawwwwwwrrrr!"
