Ya, I just got Perseus and Charon from Zolo. It's like Hot Toys - everything pours out at once.

Steve sounded like it wasn't so great that everything was shipping at once...

Post some pics when you get your stuff. I've been considering getting some skeletons too.

I highly recommend the skeletons... I already received the glow version from Zoloworld and it kicks all kinds of ass :rock It was because of the awesomeness of this one that I ordered the 3-pack.

I was considering the Charon... but wasn't 100% sold on the 2-pack. If Charon had a different head (more like the film version) I probably would have got that set too.

Still plan on getting Perseus though... but man I wish someone would make a Hamlin head :monkey2

That Skeleton Warrior looks awesome! How did I miss that when it was up for pre-order? I need to go hunt around and pick up at least one or two. I can easily think of a hundred and one uses for it in any diorama I want to create.

Yea, I was thinking that I need an extra Jack Sparrow costume to put one of them in.

Flash and the Skeleton's have arrived at my post office... now its just a question if they'll leave them at the door or not.

Worst case scenario, I won't get them until tomorrow.

Okay, I got Flash in today... and I have to say he's another solid entry from Go Hero. Flash doesn't have quite the same "wow" factor as Buck did, but he's still a very cool figure.

The Sculpt and paint work are good. The head sculpt does seem different from the original proto... but no so much that it is a problem. The paint work is good. I'd say they are pretty much on par with Sideshow. So, it could be better/more lifelike, but what is there is neat and clean.

The Outfit and accessories are great. This clothes are well tailored and fit the body very well. I did a bit of futzing though as the snap in the front of the pants caused the belt to bulge out. So I just put them on backwards and the problem was solved. If you do this though, make sure you heat up the boots in warm water, once that's done they slip right off. One downside of the outfit is that there is no place for the scabbard. He does come with a pretty good arsenal included a sword and scabbard, rag gun and laser rifle. Flash also has a miniature ship, its cool looking... but doesn't do a lot for me. I think if they were able to do diecast the ship would have been very cool, but as a plastic accessory its so-so.

The base body is excellent, poses really well and is nice and tight. He only comes with the 2 hands, which is a bummer... but if you you can use HT hands if you heat them up a bit. So, if you are like me and have 10 or so extra hands laying around you'll be in good shape. And in all honesty the body seems very similar to the TT... but with a few changes. One of which is arms that can pop in and out making it easier to redress the figure. The Atom body will definitely be a great alternative once these become more readily available.

I took a decent amount of photos and even included a shot of the body between an older TT and Buck body.

I'm glad I cancelled this. In the first place, the sculpt is different, so had I not cancelled I would have paid for something I didn't actually order. The new sculpt looks less like a heroic advemturer and more like someone's stressed Dad trying to read a map while the kids are yelling in the back seat. It's kind of Buster Crabbe, but middle-aged, and with a mortgage. The paint job looks good, though probably not $130 good.

Secondly, Galactiboy's excellent photographs show that the tunic is much too puffy, and this isn't helped by the super-square shoulders of the Atom. Boy, 1/6 clothing made out of the wrong material annoys me, as would the lightning flash being off to the right (or left, if you're the figure). And the floating collar would pretty much seal it for me as a fail. But in fairness, it does look slightly better with the cloak, which distracts from the Michelin man tunic.

So it's not an awful figure, but it's not what was advertised.

Skeletons look fantastic, though.

I received Flash yesterday too. I'm happy for the most part, but there are just a couple things I think could have used some work. The hands don't match the face (easy fix, I used Prometheus hands, which matched the face perfectly), the box clearly stated 2 pairs of hands and he only comes with the one set, and the boots are way over-sized (they look like clown boots). I personally like the face sculpt, it's on par with SS and the clothes are nice.

thanks for the photos g. i was looking forward to this one, but i'm not gonna pick him up. the head looks really bland and barbie-ken-ish. the paint doesnt look like it matches the body either and his neck looks way too low over the body. he has that stubble neck look for some reason. :( easy pass for me. glad you liked him

I would say that the shirt is actually very well tailored... but in person I preferred the way it looks in the photos, versus fully tucked in (how it arrived).

The differences between the face and hands is less noticeable in person, but that could have been done better. I will agree about the neck though... it sits pretty low in the torso, so I think either that needs to be raised up, or a slightly longer neck would help a lot. Of course having the item around his neck doesn't help the issue :lol

I was able to get mine during the $100 Black Friday sale and for that price I'm happy with my purchase. I'm guessing this is a pretty limited release... which likely has a lot to do with the final price. If your a fan of the property I think you'd be happy... but if just a casual sci-fi fan than probably not.

Got mine in last night and though I'm generally happy to have him, I immediately did some touch-up work on him mainly because mine arrived ever so slightly cross-eyed. I think he's a nice figure for a property I never would have thought could get a figure so I am pleased in that respect. I do plan on changing his boots though... he DOES look like he has clown feet!

Well, a touch up on the face, added a new neck from a true type slim, true type hands, glued his collar down and gave him some new boots... and NOW I have a Flash Gordon figure that I love!

I know that sounds like a lot of work, but I love the old serials and to have a custom sculpt commisioned, someone to make the outfit, someone to make the weapons... I probably would have spent more than just getting this one and touching it up. Don't get me wrong... i love this figure, I just wanted to make him him shine a little more!
