Im pretty sure those little figs dont do the muto justice. I just think the design looks kinda dumb but thats just me. The jakks godzilla is so bought though.

Based on the design of Muto, I think he's going to have some whacky fight scenes with big G.

Agreed. I could see the MUTO using his legs to propel himself from buildings or use his legs to kick Godzilla repeatedly, all tae kwon do style!

So what is the creature with the glowing octopus like tenticals that you see in the lastest trailers?

That's not a muto, well not accoding to the toys..:lol

I also see people saying New York gets destroyed, but that's clearly Vegas
getting destroyed and the statue of Liberty with rollercoaster is from the New York New York hotel in Vegas

The Muto has stealth wings. :lol

Hmmm, I wonder if he's a combination of monster and technology. :horror

That might explain him sucking up the energy from that rocket thru his arm. :dunno

Maybe Muto stands for something?

Ok fine, be that way. :lol

Speaking of Toho, I can't wait to buy the imported Gatchaman movie from Toho, I've read that it was a better movie than the Battleship Yamato jump to live action.

I don't see clover, it has the general shape maybe but these look pretty cool to me. I like the red high lighting the black body and really like the look of the eyes on the sides of the head. The flying muto looks awesome, these two seem like a nice launching point for the franchise. I like that they are creating something fresh before they start dipping into the TOHO bank for the big bads for godzilla to fight.

I would say if anything these mutos remind a bit of a cross between Battra and Rodan. Hopefully Neca will be able to put more of these into stores than they have the Pacific Rim line, I only saw series one in stores once, then never saw another series again, same thing with Aliens. Hopefully that's not the case with Godzilla.
