I dove head first into X-Plus myself too. I just purchased the X-Plus 30cm Titanosaurus for a small fortune! It should be arriving in a few days and can hardly wait!!!

Congrats!!! That's an insane first figure! It's one of the best from X Plus and a favorite of mine.

Well I won the G62 on ebay today. Sort of mad at myself as I see that Diamond is probably going to release the 30cm G62. Not a real big deal but I still would have liked to save 100.00. But it's my second fav G suit so it's almost worth it to not wait.

I swore I would not get into these but looking at the photos here and on youtube and kaiju addicts I could not take it anymore. I have a ton of the old Bandi Godzilla items and some models and some of the X plus statues. I have just about all of the Yuji Sakai mini figs... or should I say my kids now have all of these things but I told myself not to get into these xplus pieces... Well then Diamond announced that they would start to release them at a more affordable price so I got the 64G (my fav) and said I would get just the 62G (2nd fav) and 67G (3rd) well then I ended up getting the smaller GMK (love the sculpt and my 4th fav). So I am hopping to stop there... Well I would like to get an Angilas if they rerelease the DAM version here.

Anyways I am really hoping to love the new Godzilla film and that SSC knocks the statue they might do out of the park. I love the new G design and a great movie would put him up there with my other favs and a Nice SSC Godzilla would be the cream of the crop for me

Anyways just sharing my G thoughts with you G fans.

I mean G68 from DAM.. 67 is awful.... No 67 for my collection I do like the movie

Yeah, that mag is confused, '68 is listed as '67, 93/94 is shown for '89, but they haven't done that suit so presumably the image is wrong.

Titanosaurus was a favorite of mine too growing up. I also ordered the 75 Godzilla and 66 Godzilla vs Ebirah set. Those other two are coming from Japan which will take a little longer to arrive. Still wanting a 73 and 68 Godzilla. Just missed a 73 on eBay. The same seller that sold the 73 listed the Titanosaurus I purchased. I missed the 73 by probably an hour. Darn it!

I kinda liked that design. Just because it is different and darn ugly. The 67 is on my X-Plus want list.

It's very ugly. The face is jacked. I actually think the spines wwere always kind of neat though. I felt the same way about G '55. Most of the time he looks ugly on screen but I've seen some beautiful statues of him and his spines are an example of my ideal Godzilla spikes.

Godzilla 68 was so good they basically used it for the next three films after DOM. Even though he did look a little like Oscar the Grouch (Hmmm perhaps that is why I always liked Oscar).

'64 and '62 are definitely some of the coolest suits and show some much character through their designs. And they both look more reptilian or serpentine which I think it great for Godzilla (moreso than his face looking like other kinds of animals). That's why I always loved the Godzilla 2000 concept. His face looked like '62 mixed with '54. It was perfect. Than the suit looks like he has down syndrome.

G2000 concept is Awesome!!!!! Final product.... Not so much. Too bad they did not go with the original plan.

I remember when this pic came out... He looked so Bad A$$.... Like you said G62 was in that look.

I'd love to get that, now that I have a son on the way, i really want a Godzilla and Minya pairing, sure Godzilla's Revenge and DAM had Minya with '68 but it's not the same, I want Son of Godzilla represented in my collection.

Due to costs, I've been keeping my eye out for auctions on this one, even though it's small I also like the depiction a little better.
