If the rumors are correct, we will be getting one. X-Plus bases its sculpts off of resin garage kits produced by a couple of different model companies. I think one of the main ones they produce vinyl figures from are going to be making a huge 1960s Ghidorah from "Ghidra the Three Headed Monster". Here's a Rodan sculpt that is also expected to be produced as a vinyl figure by X-Plus.

That Rodan looks amazing. I think these statues by X Plus look great. I love their Anguirus, I just know that if I dish out the money for one monster I'll have to get many more and I'm not trying to spend money like that.

the 25 and 30cm line from X Plus is really becoming the definite line for Kaiju fans imo. I love these figures and their value.

I just wish the 89 and GMK Gojis were in 30cm

Okay Gojira experts, is this bad boy worth the $280 for a casual fan? I really like the 60s designs, especially the "vs. Mothra" look. Are these built solid like Kotobukiya's 1/7 SW, or hollow like the smaller vinyls?

These are made of a hollow vinyl, but they feel tougher and more durable than a lot of the Bandai vinyl figures and are incredibly detailed. You can get them for less than those BigBadToyStore prices from Japanese retailers like hlj.com and 1999.co.jp/eng/. Shipping is a little high, but you will end up paying much less if you buy from one of them. I like them a lot, but they are rather expensive. I'd say if you're a casual fan you should maybe pick up the characters and Godzilla designs that you really like.

Some of them are 12" tall and others are about "10 tall. The releases in the 12" scale figures are Godzilla '68, Godzilla '02, Anguirus, Gorosaurus, Gigan, Mothra, Minya as well as the soon to be released Godzilla '64 and Baragon. The 10" releases are GMK Godzilla, Godzilla '89, and the Jet Jaguar that is coming out.

A lot of them have been sold out for a long time, but if you check out the websites I listed in response to Amanaman. The ones that are still up for pre-order have release times listed on their product pages. Off the top of my head I know that Godzilla '64 is coming out at the end of August and Baragon is coming out at the end of September.

Yeah, BBTS. Hobby Search is sold out, but got on the wait list. Thanks for the heads up!

That's reassuring to hear, thanks! I have seen X-Plus' products online and they seem to be the best value relatively speaking for high-end Godzilla and Ultraman characters. Will definitely keep an eye on them for future releases.

The Bandai vinyls are still the best value perhaps, but I didn't like how thin the vinyl on the 12" one was, so I gave him away. These X-Plus ones look great!

Here are some pics of the first two smaller scale X-Plus Godzilla releases as well as some comparison shots w/ a couple of the 30 cm line and new pics of Anguirus because he's so awesome.

This one turned out so good, hope I can score one down the road, and really hope they give us an '84 of this quality, 10" will do, 12" would rock.

I'm extremely partial to the GMK design and I love the on I got, but I hope they release one in the larger scale down the line. The '89 did turn out really good too. I hope they release the '84 version you're waiting for. I personally didn't like that design the most myself, but I appreciate your love for it Maulfan and Biojex.

The place I bought Godzilla '89 from included a little Power Rangers gashapon snap together toy for free and a really neat Revoltech flyer, so that was kind of cool as well.
