Yes that's the one I want. Unfortunately I didn't see that one in Japantown. I know it's super hard to find now but I definitely would like to own it someday.

You and me both. This is probably my most desired Godzilla collectible right now. It's almost impossible to find now.

That time of year again, to bust out the Godzilla Ornaments. Really glad American Greetings has kept this going.

Just got done making this for my for my son for Christmas. First time I ever tried something like this. Took some of the toys he already has for these photos but he is getting a bunch more for Christmas. Lucky little s**t. :)

Like I said I had never tried anything like this before. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete. My son is going to love it and so I consider it a success. I still have some things to add but I ran out of glue.

I have found a solution to a problem I had with my G-grail, my Medicom '62 Goji. The problem was that the velcro wouldn't stay put on the underside of the dorsal fin strip, which allowed it to gap annoyingly. The solution(appropriately) was Gorilla Glue. I put tacks of the stuff on the spots where the velcro(a more robust replacement for the supplied piece)contacts the vinyl, clamped it down for a few hours, and no more gaps. He has presented problems, my Goji, but now they are behind him(come to think of it, that's where they've been all along). I swear, if I'd had this figure when I was 8 I'd have slept with it...PS

After looking through the thread I found that I(nor anyone else) haven't posted pix of my Medi-62. Without further ado...

This is as it came, plus the armature I built for him...

Interesting that the"suit" will stand on it's own!

The armature; the steel pin holds the neck in place. To put him all together, the head/neck have to go in first, followed by the padding and the rest of the armature...

This arrangement allows for quite a bit of head movement(almost more than the original suit!)

The armature is designed for the big Asian Ball jointed dolls that my wife collects. I wanted Goji to be truly poseable, which the Combat Joe body was not stiff enough to do. The challenge was to attach the "skull" to it and fabricate forearms. Thank Gahd for Magic-Sculpt! I also repainted the eyes(he looked a bit stoned) and touched up the dorsal fins with glow-in-the-dark paint. Still thinking about putting some disks on the bottoms of the legs to make him a bit more stable. He's not perfect, but I don't think he can get much better...PS
