After looking through the thread I found that I(nor anyone else) haven't posted pix of my Medi-62. Without further ado...

This is as it came, plus the armature I built for him...

Interesting that the"suit" will stand on it's own!

The armature; the steel pin holds the neck in place. To put him all together, the head/neck have to go in first, followed by the padding and the rest of the armature...

This arrangement allows for quite a bit of head movement(almost more than the original suit!)

The armature is designed for the big Asian Ball jointed dolls that my wife collects. I wanted Goji to be truly poseable, which the Combat Joe body was not stiff enough to do. The challenge was to attach the "skull" to it and fabricate forearms. Thank Gahd for Magic-Sculpt! I also repainted the eyes(he looked a bit stoned) and touched up the dorsal fins with glow-in-the-dark paint. Still thinking about putting some disks on the bottoms of the legs to make him a bit more stable. He's not perfect, but I don't think he can get much better...PS

Mine arrived 2day in the mail. Nice work on yours. Your right about the factory painted eyes.

The next 30 cm scale X-Plus Godzilla figures have been shown. Godzilla 1971 and Hedorah 1971 are coming up.

I agree. I'm tempted to buy both, but these are pretty pricey vinyl figures. If I have to pick one it will definitely be Hedorah.

I think Ghidorah is what everyone wants. Hopefully we'll get him soon, but there is so much that they could do before him with the huge library of characters in the Godzilla universe. They also seem to like some of the more obscure characters as we've seen with Gorosaurus, Sanda, and Gaira. I wouldn't be surprised if X-Plus made characters like Manda, Titanosaurus and Ebirah in this series.

Oh I don't doubt they'll likely do everything, be it the 10" or 12" scale, they've do so much already. To do '71 even after '68 opens things up. I wouldn't be surprised to see a '91 even though it's essentially the '89 again, different pose, new sale. I'd imagine '54 will probably be last.

I've been saving up my reward points at Hobby Search just for this. I think I can get him at a pretty nice price when he's finally released.

This King Ghidorah was shown at Wonderfest and is produced by M-arts. At 6 meters 60 cm, thats almost 9 foot of giant monster. cost 1,964,000 yen= $18240, only 5 made worldwide, The item appears to be made out of wood .....yeah...imagine the shipping charge XD

anything is possible in japan.....one can only dream

That giant King Ghidorah is awesome. If I had won the Mega Millions jackpot last week, I would buy something like that.

On another note, a new Godzilla comic is coming out by IDW publishing in March.

Here's a link to some information about it and an interview with Eric Powell and Tracy Marsh who will be working on the comic. I guess Alex Ross is going to do a cover for it as well.
