Ok great trailer they’re not lying to us like G14 did.

Good:

The fact that this is even a reality! Imagine if we got this in 98 instead of Iguanazilla.

The pet line great response back! Dumb americans lol

Bad:

Hello darkness my old friend

Surprising:

Godzilla sprinting holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me your jaw didn’t drop there is no way anyone was expecting that lol

I’m not going to criticize them for that because that was one of the major complaints they received from G14 was that the monsters were too slow lumbering and boring with no hand to hand battles and those complaints were coming from TOHO purist so to be fair we can’t now start complaining about them giving us fast motion up close battles.

I thought the main complaint was a lack of monster screentime. I never asked to see a 200,000 ton monster run around like a Naruto character.

Did this trailer ease the pain of the live action Sonic movie reveal today?

Must have confused the two.

Yes you did, I found the exact post from 2015!

Blade3327: “Stupid americanized Gojira movie don’t they know Kaiju fight Naruto speed!!!”

:chase

I don't get how Toho purists could ask for it either. With the exception of the series' campiest entries, the monster footage was always slowed down.

Oh, I didn't know there's cameos. COOL! They're already teasing Destroy All Monsters!

It does look much more like Kumonga/Spiga to me too.

So is the 'moving mountain' Gorosaurus or Anguilus too?

The main complaint was their screen time and cutaways but the battles was up there as well that and killing off Cranston so early and Taylor Johnson having the personality of a snail.

Look if Biojex didn’t complain I won’t either lol

DAmn. What a trailer! WAS that Kumonga rising out of the dirt?? So many moments to pause. Look at Godzilla bookin’ it! :lol :lol :lol i ****in love it.

As I understand, there are additional creatures in this movie beyond the big 4. I’ve heard rumors of Anguirus, there may be some designed as nods to Toho creatures without specifically being them. The MonsterVerse premise is that deep within the Earth lay an ancient eco system that happily stayed hidden, but our metling with nature is setting them off. Like the Skullcrawlers in Kong living under Skull Island.

If the descriptions are true from people that have seen it, then several more monsters do make an appearance and one big tease of another at the end will likely cause fans to lose their ****.

Yeah I know that much. And here was a lot of fan speculation that the bamboo spider from Kong was a relative of Kumonga or that the lake octopus thing was Oodako from KvG and Gargantuas. Its all head canon stuff, but its fun. These creatures do exist within this universe, so as long as they dont outright name them, it can be whatever
