Yeah I know that much. And here was a lot of fan speculation that the bamboo spider from Kong was a relative of Kumonga or that the lake octopus thing was Oodako from KvG and Gargantuas. Its all head canon stuff, but its fun. These creatures do exist within this universe, so as long as they dont outright name them, it can be whatever

JAWS is going to be super happy when he sees Godzilla using his arms.

G14 couldn't have had all these monsters since that was down to Toho and rights, so instead we got brand new monsters in the MUTO'S.

They're not a patch on the classic monsters but they handled them pretty well in terms of visuals and the sound design, plus you kind of felt bad for them in the end.

I really hope they give the monsters here some personality and character to make them stand out. Ghidorah should be a true baddy that you love to hate.

Specifically this shot. I thought Mothra too...but damned if those dont look like spider legs. Then I remembered that there would be brief cameos of other monsters. So maybe!

That could happen.. I hope not. I like the scenes with him because it reminds me of what I thought the first film was going to be. A very realistic giant monster and the chaos that comes with it.
