While the Monarch trailer did nothing for me the entire premise is dumb who cares about the creation of Monarch BUT that last shot of Godzilla going up his tail from behind has to be one of the most bad ass epic in scale Godzilla imagery ever put to film.

Minus Zero looking great as well.

Opening night for me as it was with Shin in 2016.

Minus one seems like it's going to deliver some fresh, good things, new to the franchise and I'm excited about them all.

Monarch is exciting just for continuing the MonsterVerse, which I quite enjoy, but I wouldn't say the material specifically is exciting me outside of the amazing Godzilla shots they've shared so far, which are some of the best ever.

I'm excited for everything Minus One, I think it'll be a great overall movie and contender for favorite movie with Gojira.

I have a great feeling that this will fully deliver upon what Shin couldn’t and I liked Shin.

Well this is already a step up from shin. He isn’t a walking lifeless mass of cooked hamburger meat with no soul. He actually looks and acts like an actual living creature

It's really looking incredible, they've really done a great job with the visuals, but it seems like the story is probably going to be one of the stronger ones in the series too.
Even Shin had a capable story especially when compared to those super nonsensical Godzilla films…as in most of them lol

Not excited for Kurt Russell vs Godzilla! What’s wrong with you??

This is such a jump from the visuals of Shin Godzilla it's on the level we have gotten from the US version. While I appreciate Shin, it's a bit rough at times. It's such a great idea to go back to the era of the original, but what's really interesting is the more horrific/threatening aspect of it. Maybe since it's a smaller Godzilla it works better to have that feeling of being threatened by a monster. You have those shots of the people being stepped on and stuff vs. simply being unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

One thing this has going for it over Shin is that the story looks to deal with a variety of characters in various walks of life, where Shin's characters were all tied to the government. I get that the idea of the movie was to make a commentary on how government handles crisis, but it doesn't make for the most interesting of characters for storytelling.

Also, IMAX poster.
