Well, this Saturday was so nice, I decided to do a little traveling. Two Hastings an hour away, I called both stores to see which was worth my wild, One said nothing in Hot Toys, the other said they had some that peaked my interest (Antman!).
When I got there, they only had Batman from the video game, Blake from Batman TDR with Bat signal, Gamorah from Guardians, The Crow, and Sideshow DC Superman. I'm sure they confused the stupid Chibi HT figures with what I was talking about.
Instead I bought a bunch of new CDs that were priced for what a Used would cost as well as a couple of Used.
More importantly, they had a ton of NECA Alien 3 figures! I already had a W-Y Commando, and a Dog Alien, but had to get another W-Y Commando a Ripley, and a torn in half Bishop. I also really wanted to get the Ancient Warrior Predator from NECA, but someone else had it in hand. They also had the Power Loader but I have the HT version which fills a huge void. with 40% off Toys, the Reg. Neca figures were $14.99 not including tax.
I was also going to get a Used PS3 Alien Isolation game and a new Diamond Select Enterprise-B, but I checked my phone and with the discount it's the same as new for each on Amazon, not a savings. So watch for deceptive discounts guys!
They had no Blu-ray box sets.
I did find some deals and had some fun so not all is lost.
I'm still on the lookout for either Hot Toys Luke or Hot Toys Ant-Man (1/6 scale ) also the NECA Ancient Warrior Predator at a discount. If anyone sees these let me know via PM or email ASP!
