Geez man, both those prices were sweet deals!

That sale was crazy, they must have just had some huge amounts of inventory to offload.

Hopefully in the future that will mean they will be more reasonable with some of their prices because locally they are too high. When you consider all the different avenues there are now to finding these collectibles they have to be competitive and I never really felt like they were.

Not to mention, most of the boxes in the stores are all beat up just like everyone has been talking about here. Guess that's what happens when every joe customer can handle them, but still, kind of hurts the price they want for them for a collector like myself.

My Iron Man Mark I arrived today. The box was in pretty good shape. The only thing was that the tape that seals the box was lifting off but it did not look like it has ever been opened.

I'm waiting on another sale from gohastings. I sort of regretted not getting the Mark II when it was $113.99 during the sale. I'm hoping that they do another sale like that again. I just couldn't swing both Hellboy and the Mark II in the same week.

Speaking of which, my order for my HT Hellboy came in early last week from them. The box was in ok shape. They threw the fig in a larger box that wasn't taped up very well at all. As a matter of fact, my USPS wrote on the box "Received unsealed." . At least I got it and it displays beautifully in my Detolf. The Hellboy is probably my favorite HT that I own next to the Godfather.

I posted this in the Cobra Trooper thread, but they sent two of those to me, with both wrapped up together in brown shipping paper. No extra box, just the two trooper boxes wrapped up together. Surprisingly, they arrived in pretty good shape!

I just received a shipping notice for my Iron man Mark 1 that I ordered at the end of February. Hopefully I receive it some time this week and it is the correct figure and in good shape.

One thing I have learned though is that if they have a sale again I am choosing a more expensive shipping option.

When somethings 2 cents it's wrote off, sounds like they just didn't remove the listing. If you however went into a store and saw something with the 2 cent sticker you could just buy it in there.

Well I FINALLY got my Mark I figure yesterday. Or, let me say, what this particular gohastings employee THINKS is the Mark I figure.

The only thing that saved me from going completely nuclear when I found out what it was in the box was the fact that my Conan Premium Format figure from Sideshow showed up yesterday as well.

I was VERY close to getting my rifle, a bucket of chicken, and a 12 pack of MTN Dew and posting up on top of Shopko (across the street from one of my local Hastings), waiting for employees to go home for the night.

So NOW I have to go through the return process and their site says they still have the Mark I in stock but I'm thinking about bagging it all together. They will probably send me the wrong thing again and I guess I have to pay shipping on the returns so by the time they get the da** order right I probably just could have bought the figure on Ebay for the same price!

Ridiculous....a bunch of clowns running their internet site and orders.

Yep, just did. I'm glad that I'm not going to have to pay for the postage back on the item. Ridiculous though, this is my 2nd order with them and BOTH of them were screwed up.

I'm not going to swap it out for the correct item, just get my money back and move on. Guess War Machine will be my first IM figure.

all that being said urascal, if you pass on their big time sales its your loss. the risk is well worth it IMO.
