Agreed. Percentage-wise, there's been more success stories than horror stories. I ordered three figures and received all three (from three separate stores) in a timely manner well below their original retail price.

Regarding the invoice, I guess if the people sending these orders aren't sending a SKU or something with the request then you can't really blame the employees that are filling the order in the stores too much.

However, what a remarkable idea it would be to have someone with a general interest in the merchandise they are working with to be the ones filling out the orders as well. Novel concept, dead in this age in a lot of places.

The sad thing is he is probably getting paid a low wage and will be out of there as soon as he finds something better.....which, haha, in this economy might actually mean he'll be there awhile!

Hard to find good employees nowadays. Don't want to get too deep but reminds me of playing COD online now as well. So many young kids on there (some that shouldn't even be old enough to play the game, period) and words like the "N" word, or slander towards the gay community etc just get flung around like it's no big thing. Internet tough guys I know, but discouraging all the same for what the future holds.

Oh well, I guess with the way online shopping is going....won't have to actually deal with anyone face to face in 10 years or something, haha. God I'm sounding old now....

Well I FINALLY got my Mark I figure yesterday. Or, let me say, what this particular gohastings employee THINKS is the Mark I figure.

I got the Iron Man Mark I Sideshow collectibles mini helmet bust.

The only thing that saved me from going completely nuclear when I found out what it was in the box was the fact that my Conan Premium Format figure from Sideshow showed up yesterday as well.

I was VERY close to getting my rifle, a bucket of chicken, and a 12 pack of MTN Dew and posting up on top of Shopko (across the street from one of my local Hastings), waiting for employees to go home for the night.

So NOW I have to go through the return process and their site says they still have the Mark I in stock but I'm thinking about bagging it all together. They will probably send me the wrong thing again and I guess I have to pay shipping on the returns so by the time they get the da** order right I probably just could have bought the figure on Ebay for the same price!

Ridiculous....a bunch of clowns running their internet site and orders.

To some of the others here, I've rolled the dice on hastings 5 times now, and come up a winner each time. That said, one day I know they'll wipe the smile right off my face. I still see it as a worthwhile gamble.

Okay, I take it all back. Looked at my invoice a little closer today, the one I'm sending back, um yeah the sku's don't match. So now I'm taking back my remark of trying to say it's not their fault, they are morons.

Plus I went to one of the local ones to see if they had any Dutch figures as they are going for pretty much $200 shipped on Ebay (or more) and I found the Mark I helmet from Sideshow that they shipped me. The price? $35! Haha, no wonder the tag was ripped off mine since the price of admission on my invoice says $135 or whatever it was for the Hot Toys Mark I.

Error number two, but again, said employee didn't care. Just package it up and ship it, his/her job is done right? Lame.

Holy crap!! I just ordered a Mark 1 Hot Toys fig from them a couple of days ago!!!!! I just read about the wrong item post and now a bit worried. Though I had made a purchase from them before and there was no problem. Now I'm curious to how this one will turn out.

Well I just looked online at gohastings because my local shop was saying they were having a sale on Friday and Saturday this week. Didn't find much of anything online besides a sold out Machiko for $38 (WTF! Lucky SOB that got that...I'll bet you money whoever it was won't get a Machiko though!) and Cobra Troopers for $69.

Not a bad deal if you are in the market I suppose.

Going to call around locally and see if any of the stores are doing anything on what they have in stock. Locally though there is really only some Joe stuff, Wolverine, Terminator, and a Big Chap. Hey though, if the price is right.......

Yeah what a bargain! I thought when I ordered mine for $78 it was a deal. 'Course I got Predator 2 and not Machiko .

I called customer service to see if they could check for one more Machiko. A very stoned sounding woman told me that all stock in all stores would show online and she wouldn't even budge on trying.

Awesome customer service right there. Could have at least put me on hold and faked looking for something.

There's a Machiko in my local store, just saw it... but its only discounted to like $116.
