I noticed last night Sam, that our home state, Louisiana, is one of the states where GoHastings charges sales tax for orders.

So of course, Murphy's Law, but I bit the bullet and bought my Wolverine on Ebay a couple weeks ago and then their site has him back up again. :lol

He is sold out of course, but it looks like they put back up 2 or 3 figures they had completely removed from their site. Wonder if that was just a mistake or if they found some backstock lying around and posted them.

Maybe they'll get a MK I! :dunno :lol

Has anyone got something from gohastings that actually had the seal on the box. Do they sell used ones or are these display models? I bought an Iron Man 3 Battle damaged and the figure was clearly taken out of the box and 2 of the flaps for his armor were missing. Frustrating to say the least.

its a crap shoot. many of the figures were on the store shelves so theres a chance some customer opened the package and messed the figure up.

for all the imperfection hastings has, i haven't known them to refuse a refund. so aside from annoyance and time lost, there is really no reason not to order from them.

This really sucks! I ordered the Hot Toys DX Batman and a Bank Robber Joker from them Thursday night when the price was still $180.00. Now they do their 20% off sale. DAMN IT!!!

You missed the 50% OFF on shipping to ? You had to type "STYLE" in the coupon code area.:slap

Quick question. I made my first order with them this past Sunday. I haven't received a shipping notice yet or a charge on my cc. Are they a little slow at replying / shipping?

Yeah like Bio said I would give them a call. They can take awhile and the time issue comes from them trying to locate your product in one of their stores.

That said, I got my Leonidas today and that took 3 days. I STILL don't have a shipping confirmation on my Batman DX yet though and that was on the same order. :slap

My order is for a Batman DX also. I called them and it sounds like there trying to locate more stock. Was told that there policy is to have the order pending for 7 business days. If they do not locate the item in that time you should be receiving an e-mail that the order is cancelled.:gah: Why say in stock an take the order if you don't have the item? Must have a poor website inventory system.

Oh absolutely they do! It's even a little more frustrating when you have a Hastings locally. When I called one of my local stores they told me that they were given something to say to us, the customers, regarding why they don't honor the price from their website in store. It was something to the effect that they have separate inventory from what their website warehouse does and that they can't honor those prices because they had to pay for their in store inventory. Which is complete BS as their figures ship from the stores that happen to have the item in stock.

The site is run by wild animals. :exactly:

:goodpost: Yep....The Ringer is right but the prices rock so that's why we take chances on them.
