i have to admit this happened to me and I did the wrong thing. I called them like a month after I ordered something. It didn't arrive. I called them and got a refund. THE VERY NEXT DAY I received the item.

I never called them back. I can't say I'm proud of it.

I haven't had a problem with hastings, but I want to order what looks to be the Pred1. It doesn't have a picture but the little that's on the description looks like it's the Orignal Pred.. Anyone order this and get something else?

Yes, I ordered it and got the right one. It took a long time, like a month to get it. The box was sealed and in good shape, but was missing the outer "camouflage" clear plastic slip cover.

I've ordered a DX Joker from them once. The box was very dented, scuffed, and damaged because they did not provide adequate (meaning NONE) packing materials in the package (the package was huge, a lot bigger than the DX box). The figure was fine since Hot Toys packed it really well. But they're (gohastings) offering me a full refund.

I probably won't risk buying anything like that from them again. Maybe something small and cheap.

I ordered a DX Joker from their Amazon store for 152 shipped, which was the best deal I could find, but hearing these horror stories makes me hope mine comes decently packed.

I think it should be taken as a rule of them...

if you care as much about the box as you do about the figure... you're taking a gamble with hastings...

If you care more about the figure, you;'ll be ok.

I think it really depends on where they shipped it from. I do believe they send their items from store(s) that are nearest to you that have it in stock. The nearest store to me is in AZ; I'm in CA. Now, that doesn't mean that's where they are shipping it from 'cause they may not have my item in stock.

Their shipping is wacky. I put an Obi Wan in my cart to see what the shipping would be and it was $12. I ordered an HT Hellboy and Pred1 and both were shipped for $7. Perhaps Obi is at a store further away from me.

Glad to hear its the right one, I just ordered this yesterday. Too bad about the slip cover though. Oh well, can't beat the price right now.

Yeah, like mentioned, the figure will be fine... but the box probably won't be so lucky.

It also didn't come in the sealed brown shipping box Hot Toys packs it in (other distributors like BBTS keeps it in that brown box, along with providing great cushioning).

My $70 V1 Joker arrived today in prime condition. The outside box was a bit flimsy, but they bubble-wrapped the merch well enough so that nothing happened in transit. I hope my $30 Han Solo arrives in the same condition...

Well, Han showed up in box that was less than mint. No dings, but it definitely had shelfwear. And a partial price tag remaining. At least the figure was just fine.

Guess they know how slow Hastings can be.

Hopefully you will have your Vader soon. I ordered mine from their Amazon site on the 6th, and it showed up yesterday, the 19th. The fig was fine, but as others have stated, the sideshow box was a little beat up. They shipped it in a U-Haul box!

Ordered the HT Hellboy and Pred1 on the 17th. Got an email today that they have shipped. I'll take pics of what I get. At $7 shipping I don't expect it soon.
