Going price for Captain America regular PF

look what happen to the Hulk PF...it was selling on eBay for about $450-$500 several months before the movies hype....and look what happen to the price...selling for about $800 now. The Hulk PF is about 1000, and the Captain America PF exclusive is 850, so Captain America should see a rise in price near the movie release. It's a good sign since the movie is not releasing anytime soon.

I agree,if the movies a hit it will fetch even more.

People been saying the Green will catch up to Grey in market value since it came out. In truth, the reason it goes for so much is because it's a great sculpt. Also, marvel hype; coming off of Cival War, then World War Hulk may have boosted the secondary market on PFs and several other pieces. But it has not done anything much for the majority of LSBs, Archive sets, and dios. Again, movies tend to do nothing for the market. IMO, it's all in the sculpt and how well it gets perceived.

If Hulk PF can fetch $800, then there's no doubt that Captain America PF Exlcusive can get there. It's just a matter of time. The Captain America exclusive has 2 interchangeable heads, shields, and helmet.

Is there any other Sideshow PF that has so many style that you can display? I can't think of any.... Not only that, the statue has won many recognition and awards - a well deserved for such beautiful statue.

I'm not trying to hype up the statue. I wish it was $400 right now so I can buy 20 of them wait until the movie comes out. I'm just comparing the statue with other PF and value. Captain America exclusive PF deserves the same price treatment like Sideshow PF.

I confess that I wanted another exclusive at the price of $500, but someone out-bid me at the last minute. I want to disaplay two different Captain America. I'll continue to bid $500 because i really want another one. If i can get it, then I'll be happy with it.

There will always be a new and younger generation of people getting into collectible every year; therefore, a demand for them. I guess I'm one to be blame for bidding $1000 for Iron Man and Dr. Doom. I'm sure there will be others doing the same every year as they inherit extra money to spend.
