Gotta call Customer Service. No mention of the NRD on my invoice. Says I've been billed $299.99 for it plus shipping and unfortunately my credit card transactions haven't been updated yet for me to check the actual amount billed on-line. Anyone else notice this?

Guess what came while I was working out?



I was not expecting it today, because the tracking updated to showing Friday delivery, even though most Sideshow gets to me in one night by FedEx. I'm glad I keep the garage open about a quarter of the way while I'm on the elliptical, or I would have missed delivery by about ten minutes.

More photos later, if I can find a charged camera...

Edit: And my card is still not showing any charge of any kind yet. I checked both since I've changed the card I use for SS products, but could not change either Gollum or Vampirella because they have always shown as "shipping soon" since day one, and I never bothered to call. But still no charge? This has not really ever happened before to me. Maybe it will show up later today. I'll wait to see the actual charge before I call to find out if they remembered to remove the $30 deposit.

Sorry, had to shower after the workout. I really was hoping this little fellow would not be so endearing, but it looks like he may be here to stay. Out of my collecting focus, but I did pull the trigger way back when. We'll see. It truly is a nice piece. The ring appears to be metal, and of course there are two of them. This will be the very first piece which I can have both versions displayed simultaneously. Although, I have already brought Smeagol upstairs to the collection room, and Gollum is residing downstairs for now.

Like I said, he's out of my collection focus, because I don't have any PF's at the moment. I used to have about six or seven SW PF's, but they are too bulky for my display space. I do have CC PF on order, but really have to reign myself in. I didn't think the Gollum/Smeagol would be too big, but he does take up some space.

Oh, well I do also have the 1/4 scale Aliens maquette, and the Alien on order too...

While I'm alright with it, I can foresee others not being satisfied with the paint as there is a clear demarcation between torsos and leg sections. The legs are clearly darker where both torsos are quite light. So this may turn into the new Patient Zero exclusive arm problem.

But like I stated, the difference is not enough to bother me.

Yeah they do eat up a lot of space..... if nothing else I highly recommend Gandalf PF tho, that one is excellent.
