Duck, you may be able to secure an "International Version" cheaper than buying on ebay. Sideshow had 500 as a Domestic Exclusive and a larger run for the international market (1500 - I think...) and they did open an offer out to US customers to buy an international version. They are only different in the little stamp on the bottom of the base, but otherwise appear to be identical. You can try to contact Sideshow directly to see if that offer is still open. Good luck!!!

What are the chances that a wait list will convert for this piece? I'm not sure if I should put my self on the wait list or not and just try and find a decent price on ebay Also are you charged the deposit fee for a waitlist item? I've never done it before so i'm not sure thanks!

they are definitely still taking orders for international version. I broke down and sent them the email for the international version on friday and see the order under my account today, no eta on shipping date yet though.

Must have both versions for completeness since they have different stamps at the bottom /twitch. I hate sideshow...

I just picked up my Gollum from Sideshow and the number I got was 250/500. I'm very happy with the way it came out. China did a good job duplicating my Prototype but I will add more detail when I have free time.

Feeling tempted to get this. Would go good with the maquettes but I figure they'll make him in that line.

Josh, I had him for that reason, but jettisoned him quickly as the scale difference was too vast for my taste. Of course I had him right next to Gandalf which didn't help matters.
