I thought the exclusive would be lower for this one as these have not sold as swiftly as one would expect. I guess is not fair to compare to Star Wars.

I think the elven cloak is a crucial item to have on these figures. It brings all fellowship members together as you display them.

Well, that was one of the easiest pre-order that I have ever had!

I was at a meeting this morning so I was not able to order via computer. I called in and it took all of about three minutes to complete the transaction.

I finally ordered Boromir, and because I am huge nerd, I convinced my girlfriend to activate an account too and order a second one. I was waiting for Boromir, as this way, with a second exclusive, I can make a complete Strider (now with Boromir's Vambraces and his exclusive elven cloak!) and I will be attempting to make a 1/6 elven boat to put the second (maybe customized to be "deceased") Boromir in!

This plan will work great until they offer the hobbits or Gimli without their elven cloaks! D'oh!

You know what's funny is that I've seen FOTR at least fifteen times and I never realized that that's what Aragorn was putting on his sleeves after Boromir goes over the waterfall. Cool.

If I remember it well, that's the case for the Luke Skywalker and Kit Fisto exclusives.

Yeah, this preorder was the easiest I've seen in a while.... I had mine by 12:01 EST....It took me about 30 seconds to log in and secure the exclusive. I did it so fast at work, no one even saw me..

It was badass....

If only every order was so smooth..

I was thinking the same. I cancelled the Legolas my friend had on order and replaced it with a Boromir. A dead/wounded Boromir will be cooler than my original plan of trying to replace the quiver and bow for the second Leggy, assuming another version of him comes out at some point.

Destiny took my order, 2nd or 3rd time now. As usual very helpful and friendly. Order in, thank-you.

Nice looking figure. I just wish he came with the arrows Lurtz shot him with. But, I guess when we get a 12" Lurtz they can put them with him.

I totally forgot about Boromir today. I got home from work at 6:30 p.m. est and logged on here only to be reminded of Boromir. I scambled to order him and he was still there. Got one with easy and what a beauty he is.

I've notice only Star Wars figures sell out in a matter of minutes. All the SDCC exclusive which I thought were going to be murder to order, were also easy and didn't sell out till days after.

How quickly we've forgotten our friend the banana.
