I have the Neca one. Not sure if i'll get this too. Here he is on my daughter's playhouse.

The Neca model looks pretty nice there, I was tempted by the price, but the materials used put me off; rubber, foam, latex. Not materials that I'd expect to last more than a few years even with careful storage, let alone the kind of outdoor photos/desk-buddy treatment I'd like to do with a life-sized Groot.

Though (lol) he'd make a good stunt double for the Hot Toys model. Is he poseable?

But, the price was right. Considering what you get with the HT version, the HT seems like a much better value. I do believe the Neca ones will eventually get marked down at some point. My only win is that I have it in hand now, and not next year.

The outfit does look nice on Baby Groot but seeing how he was forced to wear it by the Ravagers coz they wanted him as
a mascot and the horrible memories he probably has about his time wearing it ... I'm ripping the outfit off him as soon as I get him coz that's what he tried to do. Poor baby will not wear that.

And then there's an even smaller Groot on Rocket's shoulder! seriously thinking about picking him up, if not for me for my mom, she's crazy about this little guy and she's got an understanding of collectibles etc. she was thinking about buying it herself!
