So many pieces raise in price pretty quick after they are released/sold out; I can understand why, but still, I wonder where it's going to stop. The market has got to collapse sometime?

Actually the trend with SS Marvel PF's has been about a year after release. Look at Doom, Iron Man, Hulk, Spider Man, and now Cap. They all seem to just double in value almost a year after they first ship. Kinda weird really.

Me too. Then I sold it for $480 a couple of months later. Then I bought another one for $480. So in my mind I still paid retail.

I'd hurry and get it before Red Skull starts shipping.

The only way the market will collapse is the issuing of a similar piece. SIM took the wind out the IM Comiquette's sails for a brief moment but the issuance of another Red/Gold 1/4 piece will bring that one down for sure. That one is the only one that really has a chance to have that done.....I don't see them revisiting Doom or Hulk in the same manner for quite some time.

Mike, you don't think that they will bring out a new Hulk for the movie?? I would think they would, along with a new IM or 2 for the movie. Please a new IM based on the SWS design!!!

Who knows. It may very well happen. Regardless if it does or doesn't. Just buy what you can and know this.. you don't have to buy everything. Buy only what is within your financial grasp. I would get on the waitlist for Thor and Red Skull if you haven't already.

Are you primarily wanting Cap to display with other Avengers? Then you might want to *seriously* consider picking up the regular edition. The exclusive is second to none when it comes to display options, but the regular is still cheaper and actually is a *better* statue if you really just want the iconic version of him. The forearm magnet on the exclusive isn't strong enough to hold up his round shield. It actually rests on his leg. The regular arm is solid polystone and allows him to display his shield proudly in the air.

I own the exclusive but if I had no Cap and were to buy one today I'd probably lean toward the regular verison. It'd save you some bucks too.

Thanks FOR THE INFO...Cap is the next PF I will buy and I am really torn between the Ex and the reg....Since I will only display the Cap in his modern attire, I think I will buy only the reg (I found one at my LCS).I prefer my statues to stay mint.I bought the reg wolverine comiquette and I dont regret it at all (didnt like the unmasked ex head).So reg. its going to be.

That is what I did for Red Skull and Thor. Hopefully they will convert.

Shai, it doesn't seem to be that way with all of them. My exclusive is displayed with the round shield and is perfect. If you're planning on getting Red Skull, I'd say go with the exclusive for the Nazi helmet. If not, I'd say get the regular and save some $$$

Well, it looks like the big Green guy has gone out of my price range.
So, unless I can eventually trade the Exc. Thor PF for him, I'll have to live with just having the Grey Hulk.

Great news! I was referring to the Ex that I sold last year. His round shield always sat on his leg. I just picked up a brand new Ex but haven't taken it out of the box yet. Maybe most of them don't have that problem. Here's hoping!

Did you make sure the cloth from the arm was not in the slot where the hand peg/magnet slides in? I noticed that would keep the hand from inserting all the way and keep the magnets too far apart so the hand was a little loose. Magnets are plenty strong on mine.

Sell the grey and buy the green.....Guys like Bodie prefer the grey cause 'if I remember correctly, he loved the joe fixit era, but for a regular fan, green is better and will worth as much as the grey due to popularity...

Even if I'd like to own a green version, and it would be the only version I had, I wouldn't be as satisfied with it like I am owning the Grey Hulk now. In other words: owning the Grey, and maybe never having the green, is green. Owning the green, but never having the grey, would make me go nuts! - in a manner of speaking of course...
