But the second one went for $900, and the first one was $999 but with free shipping, so not really 1K either.

it's because of the movie.

I have to disagree. The second one in the list for $900 bucks was bought by me. I have wanted one since I discovered side show last november. The reason for the high prices on ebay is the discounts and coupons and rebates available. Though ebay says I paid $950 shipped for the green goliath, I used a 10% off coupon on top of the live search 20% rebate to get the Hulk for $680 shipped.

Brilliant move by ebay and Live search actually. They are driving the prices of items up by offering discounts and rebates. Gives a skewed persepctive on item worth and increases the bottom line for Ebay.

I am first and foremost a SW fan but I would sell everything in my collection, including the SW PF's(including Vader PF ) before I sold my Hulk PF.

Not I. Space is becoming a major factor and with 10 PF's (yes 10) on order. I need to do some serious thinking about what line is staying and what's going. There's no way I'm getting rid of SW, so it's between Marvel and LOTR. Seeing the new pieces at SDCC will be the deciding factor and I'll be letting one of these lines go this fall

oh i'd dump every line before I dumped my SW PF's, that's for sure....except the Hulk PF.

I hear ya Loki. I had to do the same thing last fall (space fills up quickly with p.f.'s). I sold off my Marvel pieces, and am only doing movie pieces now (LotR, SW, and any other movie characters SS does I like in p.f. , like Godfather for example).

I almost thought about getting a couple of Marvel p.f.'s again. But, I think I'm just gonna wait and see and if Sideshow does a movie version Iron Man in p.f. instead.

I hear you on that too. My attic is damn near full already. I'm fortunate that my garage has an attic as well. Of course the boxes for Hulk and Thing are so big, they won't fit and are sitting in my laundry room
