So I had no idea that the Incredible hulk had a cover spot on Rolling Stone magazine back in '71! With the 1985 cover in mind I did a search for "hulk covers" to see what others were out there, and found this.

So what are the opinions of the veteran collectors on this piece? Do you honestly predict appreciation on this, or will it eventually go down in price? Just curious since the new Attakus Hulk looks promising.... And I'm able to get this PF for $625

I don't think it will drop in value at all. It is just too impressive of a piece and a very popular character. The longer you wait the more these are going to continue to settle into permanent collections making them even harder to find. That's just my opinion though.

I think it'll hover around the $800-1000 mark. It's such an impressive piece and one of the few that are worth that amount.

I would recommend the HULK Pf as the definitive HULK collectible to have right now. Get the PF.

I don't think it will ever be worth over a grand, but I also think they'll make another version. That will create increased demand from completists but decreased demand from those happy to finally have one. I think the net effect will be to slightly lower the value when that occurs. That said, it is one of the most impressive Marvel pieces SS has made. Not for incredible detail, but for sheer size and an excellent likeness.

I totally agree that this is an AWESOME piece! I'm just surprised to see the volatility of this on the market recently. It was fetchin the $1k mark now it's gone down a bit. It's tough to get into another expensive piece right now, so I'm trying to gauge when would be a good time to buy. But I guess that's just the name of the game.

I have to disagree. The second one in the list for $900 bucks was bought by me. I have wanted one since I discovered side show last november. The reason for the high prices on ebay is the discounts and coupons and rebates available. Though ebay says I paid $950 shipped for the green goliath, I used a 10% off coupon on top of the live search 20% rebate to get the Hulk for $680 shipped.

Brilliant move by ebay and Live search actually. They are driving the prices of items up by offering discounts and rebates. Gives a skewed persepctive on item worth and increases the bottom line for Ebay.

Do ppl normally just post that on their auctions, everytime i do a search on the live.com I can't find shizzznat!!!!
