That is the tradition if the holiday is before Wednesday. I can't wait until the end of the month when we get the first wave of Blackest Night figures. I've said I'm only buying the top tier of each corps, the GLs and the BLs.....unfortunately wave one has everything I need. 
I've got wave 1 on order as well. I'm waiting to see how they turn out before I order more. I'll probably get at least the BLs, but I'm sure everyone else is thinking that as well so sets might be the way to go since most of them are new corp members and a few GLs.

we can, but that peice is a known to be unauthorized peice. And with sideshow starting to bust the distributors of unlicensed material, Freaks has been REALLY pissy about any pictures showing said statues.
I agree its AWESOME. but its also not mass produced. There were only 50 made, so more time and care were taken with that, then something that has, say, 2500 pieces.

Comic Stores only and other direct retailers. If you buy them at a comic store though I'll laugh at you for paying so much. 
I want to see the picture. I just finished reading Green Lantern: Rebirth over again and loved it even the third time around. The story just had so many great ties to Lantern history and the inner workings of each of the 2814 ring bearers. I can't wait for Thursday.
