Holy ^^^^. January's solicits
Blackest Night's Future: January 2010
Guess who's back?
by Richard George
October 15, 2009 - October solicits always shock us a little. As we gear up for the holidays, end of the year articles, major new projects and vacations... the comic book industry is already discussing the new year. Where did the time go?
Today we're here with an exclusive look at DC's Blackest Night plans. Earlier this month DC announced that Blackest Night #7, which should have shipped in January, would be delayed until February - and the final issue of the event would arrive in March. In its place, the publisher plans to release eight "revived" titles: Atom & Hawkman, Catwoman, Phantom Stranger, Power of Shazam, Question, Starman, Weird Western Tales and Suicide Squad. There will also be one tie-in title, Secret Six, which continues the story from Suicide Squad.
See below for the full creative teams of those titles.
But first, let's take a look at the core Blackest Night offerings for January 2010. Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps will still release that month, as will the three mini-series: Wonder Woman, JSA and Flash. We have all of those covers and solicitation descriptions. Enjoy!
[Note: Be sure to check out ALL the covers - the Secret Six one at the very end is particularly delicious.]
