On singles or just sets? My broken BL Superman probably won't be able to get replaced by the place I ordered from. They are trying to get more, but can't guarantee it. So they said they will give me a partial credit if I can get him elsewhere.

And is there a new checklist for this second part of Blackest Night? Its hard to tell what is going to be a Blackest Night issue without them. So many new cross overs now.

Here ya are: https://www.dccomics.com/sites/greenlantern/?action=checklist

I got my Sinestro ring :D This is probably the one I wanted most besides a Green and Black one. So I'm glad they went with a good one to hold us over for a week.

The rings are supposed to be free with the purchase of the comic they had to order to get it. But to be fair, there are two seperate comics in the Doom patrol issue. Now this is probably because I'm not a Doom Patrol fan, but I didn't like the issue. But at least I got my ring.

I was getting too many conflicting stories about the rings and it looks like my LCS isn't getting all of them because the owner doesn't want to pay for boosk that will rot, so I just went over to Midtown and bought a set. 8 Rings, $20 shipped. At about $2.00 a ring it's cheaper than buying the books anyway.

That is what I figured too. Its basically the same price most places if you just want the ring or the ring and the comic. So I might as well get a "free"comic with my ring.

Cost of buying the side issues to get the rings - $30.51 (including CA Tax) not counting the cost of gas, etc.

Cost of buying the rings themselves and just downloading the side issues - $21.00 shipped (and that is including a Black Lantern Ring which isn't part of this promotion).

No question for me.

Call me old fashioned Mike but I just hate the idea of reading comics (or books for that matter) on my monitor. I love holding a comic book and flipping the pages to be totally surprised by a shock moment or a great splashpage. I think it's part of the "magic", if you will - of reading a comic book. Again, just a preference.

I have to agree. I tried that digital Marvel comics thing to get the Nick Fury figure, and I didn't really like it. I liked that I could quickly look up a comic I might just want to look through, but not own. Kind of like a library book. But I didn't like not being able to hold it in my hands.

I love it. I turn the image into the landscape, flip my laptop on its side, hold it like a book and read to my heart's content. Not to mention the spacesaving aspect. I love those white boxes but man they take up space. Right now I have Green Lantern, all four volumes from the 1960s until this month's issue located on one thumb drive that I can take and read anywhere. I love it.

I prefer the physical media myself, but don't appreciate having to buy crappy books I'd never look at twice if not for the cool rings I want to collect.
