How much more awesome would this have been if Supes and Bats were fully sculpted ...and Bats sculpted to scale. Wow!

Right now in this pic the mixed media on Supes and Bats just can't compare to the details on the sculpted WW, GL and AquaMan.

Sure this new GL looks awesome. But it doesn't look right in that pic. SSC should either go mix media or full sculpted IMO. Mr. Green doesn't like the armpit problem on Bat and slightly ok on Sup. And they both have sculpted capes to cover the back. WW is ok since she is wearing a small outfit. Aquaman is ok since he is not so skin tight on the outfit. This new GL is nice stand alone but not ok with these mix media PF.

So mix media for all or sculpt for all!!!

Don't see why people say scale is wack for Superman and Batman. They are only 1 inch different in height. They'll be pretty close. Just because he is "Superman" doesn't mean he has the perfect genome.

A couple random listings isn't a trend

It is not a couple random listings, it is all the ones sold the past week and all the prices for the current ones also. Them seem to have been dropping lately anyway, now even moreso.

I don't think it's the height, so much as the thickness of Batman. For some reason people think Superman should be more muscular than Batman. Which back in 80's was probably true. But Bernie Wrightson, Kelly Jones, Alex Maleev, Jim Lee and many other's since then have drawn Batman as thicker and more muscled so I see no issue with Sideshow's Batman even if he is about a half inch out of scale.

Meh, EX Sold Listings: $899.99, $1000.00, $850.00, $785.00, $860.00, $950.00. It's down a little, but not like stupid low and it's probably a gut reaction to the new PF. It'll more than likely rebound.

I realized after that it was probably the muscle thickness.


You have a point, the history has proven over time that Batman has slowly been shown bigger than Superman. I mean Batman has trained his body and is always exercising it, it will definitely be defined. I don't really see Superman trying out a work out plan

Yea, I am steering clear of the New Sonja. Gonna order GL tomorrow though I am sorta debating if I should go outside of my ruleset to buy Aquaman and maybe Flash whenever he comes along. I'm not really a huge fan of Aquaman, Flash, or MM but they do look good lined up with the trinity. Flash will definitely tempt me more than the other 2. But I have been praying a new GL was coming and I'm psyched for tomorrow!

I hear ya. She's not a direction I would usually take either but she is just magnificent. However I couldn't display her until my kids were out of the house.

I really do like this GL though. I just don't have the room.... or Besta space. Have to be picky.

You have that backward - how awesome it would be if GL, WW and AC were mixed media. I hate those super defined bodies on fully sculpted pieces - no way does anyone wearing a costume in real life look anything like that.

That is totally true with me...If I go Aquaman I am all in I guess. Still trying to figure out if I go full JLA.
