Am I the only one who thinks that base is god-awful?

why not give us something that looks like his construct (like the first one) rather than this green plastic?

Same here... GL himself is nice. Base reminds me of slimer from Ghostbuster.

I am sure they will get the size right. it is a fantastic statue...except for that base.

they got it right for the green sinestro and the first GL...why the heck the change for this one? I remain dumbfounded...

Base looks like a plastic candy apple lollipop. And the face has a hint of Ryan Reynolds IMO.

Like many others I didn't get the first GL because he was so way, way, way out of scale with the rest of the PFs. I think that's why we welcome this one and it's museum pose - it will be in scale and also thematically and posically (new word!) compatible with the other PFs.

Wasn't way, way, way out of scale, but most people only had their 1:3.75 Uber-Bat to compare him to. Original GL PF looks fine with Superman and Wonder Woman.

I am liking the new PF though. I wish the costume remained modern and the base a clear green resin. Other than that it's a solid museum pose.

And why isn't the power battery STANDARD??

I'm hoping for more Green Lanterns after this!

This would be great. John Stewart could be a great follow-up based on his popularity. Either him or Star Sapphire or Atrocitus.

Though my inner fanboy really likes Guy.

How much more awesome would this have been if Supes and Bats were fully sculpted ...and Bats sculpted to scale. Wow!

Right now in this pic the mixed media on Supes and Bats just can't compare to the details on the sculpted WW, GL and AquaMan.

John Stewart would be nice! But if not, then Star Sapphire would be so cool. Especially for those that didn't get the Trinity PFs.

Really would have enhanced the desirability of this piece if he had different character change-o-heads. Stewart, Sinestro, Abin Sur, Tomar Re. . .since no other part of his body shows his skin tone, this would have been awesome.

The honest truth. Plus, these DC pieces are being destroyed. I remember everyone pissed at Classic Catwoman, and I've been seeing nothing but love. Except for the teeth, but they all aren't perfect.

Yup, definitely. I can only see it go cheap if it has a defective light source.

Wrong, it already has significantly. I have seen quite a few sell for hundreds cheaper the past week or so.
