I'm ok with the first one, jokes felt forced and flat but had some decent moments.

I think that this actually looks better.

I's almost certain Gunn took inspiration from that 80's gem of a movie Deadly Spawn for that monster they're fighting which btw looks much better than the rathtar from TFA.

Or it's just Shuma. :lol

Maybe the gun is made of lightweight materials. :lol

4th song has been revealed:

Fox On the Run - Sweet
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac
Come a little bit closer - Jay & The Americans
Suffragette City - David Bowie

Rumoured:
Beast of Burden - The Rolling Stones

I'm guessing that monster is the opening sequence adventure -- showing the team working together... before problems appear.

Does Nebula "join" the team for some reason in the comics? I was hoping she'd remain a recurring enemy.

Looks OVER CGIed again-more of the same just amped up more- losing interest- loved first one but not excited on this one

Why do I think the sequel might underwhelm the audiences

I think Marvel studios took advantage of the tremendous response that the first one received and felt that this is a franchise they can build on.

Very rare a sequel can bring back the magic of the original especially for a comic book theme

Looks like Feige felt he had to rush this out because the fans demanded it. I think waiting another year or two might have been better.

I like the new addition of characters but I don't see the material holding up to the glory of the first because these characters were never strong enough to carry a franchise in the books :lecture

For something made on a budget of 25,000, The Deadly Spawn is one of the goriest B-movies ever.

I always watched horror growing up but I think even the face rip scene messed me up for a while. :lol

Ego has taken human form before, but he's most known for being a planet, so it's not all that surprising in this case. Or it shouldn't be at least.
