I have mixed feelings about this movie.
It made me laugh really hard at some parts, but i found some parts boring. It moved me and touched my heart, but it made me cringe at the same time.

Overall i liked it a lot. But wish it was better.
Wish had a better story. But i love these characters

The more I think of it, the more I dig Yondu's character arc. His was the biggest arc in the film. I just find it more and more satisfying the more I think of it. The characters in this franchise are so fantastic. I hope Thanos takes some of em out. Would make for some real impact in the MCU.

But then again, I guess almost any death will be a good thing. We have had all these movies leading up to a show down with the mad titan. What a let down it will be if the stakes don't live up to the hype.

On a page like that with no codes..

Right-click on the pic (no clue what the mobile equivalent of that is!?) and select "Copy image location" and then on here you click the photo icon in the post area (with the other BB code options like Bold, Italic, Underline, etc.) select the option "From URL" and then paste that link. Like this:

At the corner i see this menu when i click around it

test worked thanks m8s!

She's fine af. I liked Yondu's word to starlord. "he may of been your father but he's not your daddy" . I don't know why but that phrase is just so good considering what just happened.

I liked the line when Yondu arrived on Ego's planet and exclaimed "Hey there *******!" - a reference to his final spoken line in the first film. :lol

So basically, it's a good version of SS.

It was intentionally funny, and the characters are likable, despite a so-so story.

:lol jye

I got pugged. :yess:

EDIT: I'm not totally anti-MCU right now though. Ragnarok looks fun and I'll definitely be among the first to sing IW's praises if they can actually deliver the goods. And of course I'll always have the Cap trilogy.

The opening of the movie is one of the greatest openings of a marvel movie ever made. It might be my favorite superhero Movie opening to date.

It had everybody laughing to see baby groot dancing but having the action play in the background was really awesome. The music played perfectly. This was a perfect opening.

The meeting with the gold queen was very cool as well, very funny. When Rocket shows that he stole the batteries, that got a huge laugh from everybody.
Another big laugh it got from me was seeing how the gold people were driving their ships as videogames.

So far the movie was great.

Then... when they get separated, the movie takes a down turn for me.
Getting to Ego's planet and their stay there was boring and kinda lame. Ego was not as cool as i thought. His plan makes no sense. What he did to the mom made no sense, to be honest Ego was a really stupid character. He could have easily take his mom to the planet, she already knew he was from the stars.
He lived for millions of years. What would 60 years mean to him.... that was so stupid and badly written.

His planet was beautiful and i loved the sets and the cgi plants were beautiful but i think Ego was a waste of time.

Thank god for Drax, Drax single handedly saves those scenes for me. Drax jokes were awesome. He made me laugh every time he said something. Specially when he called the mantis girl hideous. That was a big laugh for me.

Drax truly saves this whole movie. He is so great at the jokes.

The other problem was when rocket gets captured, i hated the "taserface" jokes, that was the cringe part of the movie for me. That was really dumb.

That part on the ship felt like stalling, like making the movie longer just for the sake of having a long movie. Everything after Rocket gets captured is just lame.

The only thing i loved was baby groot bringing the wrong stuff, that got a big laugh from me.

The jump between portals made me laugh my butt off. Seeing them distort had me laughing for like 5 minutes.

The other saving grace is the ending, thank god the ending was amazing.
Little groot's bomb joke was in all the trailers but i loved it in the movie.
I love the pac man joke. I loved that starlord realized how yondu was a real dad. His death was very very sad. His funeral was a great way to end the movie.

The ending made me love the movie, but the mid part made me wanna walk out. This is truly a beautiful movie that has a really thin story. The capture of rocket wasp pure sralling the story.
I wish they spent more time with the gold people instead.

Those yellow robot chicks on the snow planet were hot as hell..... loved their bored dancing

Still a more memorable villain than Malekith though.

Thats just because of how awesome Kurt is. If they didnt have Kurt in the role, this could have been the dumbest villain in marvel history... for a being as smart as Ego he was truly stupid...lol :lol

It's all good i'm looking forward to the MCU finale and then moving on to the 10 new SW movies lol.

I still don't know if i'm looking forward to anything from WB yet lol.
